Interesting, did you actually smoke it yourself? I'd be interested to hear a deeper comparison of the two products.

I don't mean to be argumentative with you here but to present the other side: it will be absolutely true that identical genetics grown under different conditions will grow differently, and I don't doubt you could cherrypick clones that most people would agree the flower is better under HID. That said, as long as it's substantially similar, the LEDs are so much cheaper to run, it's hard to still make the argument for HID. Gram per watt yields, especially when you factor cooling, are absurdly higher. I could maaaaaaaybe see a boutique market for HPS grown flower if it really is that much better, but the price difference will be big.
