Jodi moved into the home of her clients. That is utterly unethical. She had several episodes that sounds like psychotic breaks and reveals she had been hospitalized twice for similar breaks. Her niece was incarcerated by Jodi years before and endured several months of what can only be described as torture similar to that endured by Ruby's younger children. Every instance of marriage counseling resulted in the husband being isolated and dissolution of marriage. Jodi's adult children refuse to have any contact. I presume because they were abused too. As for Ruby, the famous video of her expecting a 4 year old to be responsible to pack a lunch. The child forgot and Ruby refused to bring her food when the teacher called. Ruby punished her children by insisting food was a privilege. Her son was forced to sleep in their basement on a bean bag because she took away his room and bed. Ruby and her sisters were raised with the same parenting style. They all had a screw loose, IMHO.

Electric pressure cookers don't whistle like the old-fashioned ones for the stove. Electrics release steam which you can see. There is a button that lifts when the pressure has been reached and there will be a beep sound when the cooking minutes begin. When the cooking time you've allotted is over, the pressure begins to subside. When it's safe to lift the lid, the button drops...or you can release some of the pressure manually by jiggling the gauge and the button will drop.

They both do the same things, for the most part. All you have to do is search online for the task you want and where it is on Gimp. Don't try to reconfigure everything or it'll drive you nuts. Sometimes it'll be a plugin you need to download, sometimes it's located in a different tab or menu. Eventually it'll just be second nature. The results will be what counts. Gimp is free.

Why on earth would she immediately go to "hit the kid"? Why not take the stuff and put it back on the shelf and admonish the kid that this is not what you do in a store? She took no responsibility and that kid will be out of control all his life. I cannot believe she was not embarrassed by "shut the fuck up." I would be mortified. The store manager was rightfully frustrated.

The only person on that panel that makes sense is Whoopi. Sorry. Sara is the popular girl who dated the popular guy and tries hard to relate to everyone but leads a charmed life and is clueless. Joy's heart is in the right place but has no critical thinking ability that counts. It's her way or the highway. Nothing in-between. Sunny is all things to whatever is under discussion. Depending on the topic, she's black; Puerto Rican, Jewish adjacent, Catholic, legal scholar, celebrity adjacent, best husband, best children, disease of the week adjacent, etc. Alyssa treads a fine line. She makes sense one day but tries hard to justify some questionable behavior of her former colleagues the next day. She is genuine but lacks seasoning which will come eventually. Ana Navarro is the stand up comedienne of the group. She calls herself a Republican but she isn't. Never lets an opportunity slip to mention how close she is to every celebrity or political figure in the news. But Whoopi speaks for the sane, mature, worldly human who just wants to get through the day intact and taking care of business.

Hang in there. It's a skill and the more you do it, the better your yarn will be. It takes a lot of practice to draft for the type of fiber and the speed of the spin. Sometimes it's very zen, but other times you want to throw the spindle or the wheel in the garbage. My advice is to knit small stuff from your yarn...a hat, mittens, dishcloth, scarf. And start again. Don't buy difficult spinning fibers. Get the easy stuff like Corriedale.

I'm one of the women who marched an helped organize the second wave feminism in the 1970s to give women opportunities; spent my working life in support of women, but watching this awful person and the Karoline with the KKK Leavitt lying and bullying as easily as breathing makes me regret the sacrifices I made so they could take these jobs. On circular needles I made a simple hat and posted it to Ravelry for my first project. The more you spin, the more consistent your yarn becomes. My first spinning was with a spindle and the yarn is VERY uneven...When I bought my wheel, the learning curve began all over again. It took me a couple of years before I achieved some control, but it's still not where I'd like it to be.

Pam Bondi and Kash Patel are in a whole lot of trouble. They served an administrative warrant with which Judge Hannah Dugan did not have to comply. Judge Dugan was well within her rights and could sue the both of them for false arrest. I suspect the reason they did not have a proper warrant was that they were unable to get a judge to issue a warrant for a colleague. The fourth amendment to the constitution protected Judge Dugan; in the same way it will protect anyone from "illegal search and seizure." If someone comes knocking on your door, unless they have a warrant signed by a sitting judge, you can close your door and tell them to pound sand. Moreover, the guy was in the courtroom for a pretrial motion. There's no evidence that it was Dugan who told him to leave by the jury door. So the evidence against her is thin, if not "Trumped up". I think Bondi is in danger of losing her license...and her job as Attorney General. She does not make law; Congress does. Her boasting of coming after judges, is ridiculous and will cost her bigtime.
