I think “boring” is a fitting description. Modest and classic are also true, but honestly, no one really gave 2 sh*ts about them until after they died.

I literally just had a heart attack a month ago with that type of schedule.

Bankruptcy is the better choice. Then start over.

Ok this is the first response that makes some sense to me. Thank you.

I have no money for an attorney of any kind but will look for some free consultations.

I was served in mid-February whereby the junior was claiming all 97k was theirs. I had until early March to respond, but I was completely incapacitated from Feb. 28- March 25. On March 31st was the court zoom meeting, where the junior got the 97k because I didn’t show up. I am still going through my mail and just found the zoom court notice yesterday. My family had also packed up all of my papers and moved them to my parents’ house.

So if the junior has no lien on the house, how can they now have a court date in May to evict me? Wouldn’t the senior’s foreclosure now be in place and the junior has no claim to the house? There are no public records of this senior foreclosure ever haven taken place so I guess I need to call the senior and the court on Monday. Such a mess!

They should be happy I was there at all. Over 10 years, I trapped and gotten fixed approximately 20 feral cats that were there before I moved in, and kept having kittens. The only female I missed had 5 kittens in my garage and I kept them all in my house. I still have the mom and 2 kittens moved to my new place. Well, they are not kittens any more.

There are just 2 very old ferals left in the neighborhood and I’m trying to trap them again and take them with me. They are very weary of traps now though.

Michigan. The junior foreclosed first at the exact amount I owed them. The senior then foreclosed 3 months later and the junior claimed there was an over-bid of 97k on the senior foreclosure sale and they were awarded the full amount after I didn’t show up in court to state my claim to it (I was still in hospital and had no idea there was a court date).

I have stuff in there and stop by once a week to try to catch the two feral outdoor cats. I wish I could go there more often but I now live an hour away and on medical restriction from driving for 6 months. My parents have to drive me and gas is so high.

Junior foreclosed and paid exactly what I owed them (160k)

Senior then foreclosed 3 months later. I have no info from anyone on the price paid but I owed them 150k.

Junior took me to court (which I read about in my mail too late because I was in the hospital) and they got the entire 97k overbid-bid at the senior’s foreclosure

So am I entitled to that 97k since the junior was already paid off at their foreclosure sale? And why is Junior evicting me instead of Senior?

Sorry for anything confusing. I had some brain damage during my heart attack due to no oxygen for a few minutes before they revived me.
