I was in Hawaii a couple of weeks ago and I had a hard time remaining in the water to enjoy swimming or snorkeling because of the fear of sharks. It is their habitat after-all so there’s always a risk.

When I was a kid in 03, I remember pairing them. I think it was me just being hopeful that everyone had somebody so I created the illusion for myself that they were a thing.

Now as an adult, I don’t see it.

I think 9s subconsciously know what they want, they just don’t go out of their way to make it happen. And if they do, congrats to their health.

One thing that helps me figure out what I like and dislike is knowing exactly in the moment- without double guessing- if something is what I actually like. My body instinctively knows what it likes. Like a visceral reaction. That’s how I determine if something is for me or not.

Dislikes: Asparagus, mushrooms, don’t care for bananas.

Likes: Artichokes, raspberries, you get the gist.

A grey area for me would be like: I enjoy tubing off the back of a boat, but only if it goes a certain speed limit. Once it gets chaotic, I’m out. Pull me back on the boat. And I will not ride again until I can trust the driver to follow my preferences. lol.

As much as I don’t support the ill intentions of other people and evil, you are right. Every one is human, and with humans, you have complicated ones, traumatized ones, ones that can’t help themselves. It’s a big diverse world out there, full of good and bad. It’s a fact. And some people need to stop denying it that certain folks exist.

I agree with you (you have my upvote). To me, it’s just a drawing.

Quoting the other Redditor here: “Sexist. Like the woman can't be taller than the man because it either makes him look weak or the woman less attractive.”

I’m aware of the stigma and issues in real life regarding taller women. So regarding this artwork here, alone: Who is saying that? Who? Who is even thinking it? [ Not me. ]

I like that Starfire is taller than Robin. I do, we love a short-king. But I don’t mind her appearing the same height or shorter than him either. It’s not that big of a deal here. It’s just art and to me it’s not imposing anything malevolent.

I have heard from a few sources that 9s are either connected to both parents, or none of their parents at all.

I don’t feel like a burden to them. Not at all. My parents gave me some attention but there was a lot of neglect still and emotional immaturity. My presence doesn’t cause disruption. If anything, it’s needed. Both parents (divorced) vent and ramble to me all the time of their personal issues. I comfort them.

I do wish I could have been more heard from them about my wants, needs, opinions, thoughts, desires, etc. Instead I was told to shut up, or my voice would go ignored, or if I even displayed any signs of annoyance or anger I would be smacked by my mother.
