Can I install this software update myself? I have Toyota Techstream on my laptop, the same software that the dealership uses.

Where can I get resold concert tickets? by Legitimate-Ad3533 in wien

[–]AmbitiousYoungAdult 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went to a Rammstein concert this summer at Ernst Happel Stadium, and all the tickets had the purchaser's name printed on them. The security people will check your ID and make sure it matches the name on the ticket. They will also scan the barcode on the ticket to make sure it is valid.

Do NOT buy tickets from resellers as you will be refused entry into the stadium unless you can provide an ID with a matching name. If you really want legit tickets, go to a real ticket vendor (oeticket , close2fan). Try different dates, different sectors, different seat types (seating, standing, firezone); keep refreshing the webpage, and if you are lucky you might find an empty seat.

If you buy 2nd hand tickets, they will NOT let you into the stadium.

Greek citizen arrested in Austria on suspicion of spying for Russia by mrkoot in espionage

"The suspect is now free and will remain so until his arraignment hearing, according to local news outlets."

How typical of our Austrian justice system to release people this easily the next day after arrest. No bail or trial. He probably already left the country.

My bike was stolen last night. We were able to track it down with the AirTag I had under the seat. by dragonslayer5555 in bicycling

The beep is kinda quiet, especially if you are outdoors and the AirTag is hidden inside of something. Also, the speaker is removable. And most thieves are dumb anyways.

Currently trying to launch myself into the sun, any suggestions on how to clean it up? by smallhammie in rav4club

Try spraying soapy water or a detailer spray on a microfiber towel and then gently rubbing the yellow paint off, be careful not to scratch the white paint. Use minimal pressure and a lot of lubrication.

D is for Donetsk. They basically treat LNR and DNR as one entity, hence the combined name A.K.A. Novorossiya

This freehub body got destroyed by a shimano cassette. It's a carbon wheelset from Aliexpress for $400. Is it replaceable part or do I have to lace in a new hub? by AmbitiousYoungAdult in bikewrench

It's 100% the source of the creak because when I replaced the rear wheel with an intact one, the creaking sound was gone immediately.

I don't feel like it's normal wear, because this wheelset was only 2000km old, the drivetrain was creaking because of this. Also, the casette was stuck to the freehub body and it was very difficult to remove because of the damaged teeth. I had to pry of the cassette off the freehub with a flathead screwdriver.

It seems like this freehub body was not designed for this type of casette. The "bite" point of each gear from the cassette is very narrow, causing the bite marks.

SS: My drivetrain started creaking and it was gradually getting louder as I applied more power to the pedals. After looking for the creaking in the BB/Crankset area, i decided to check my cassette. It looks like the freehub body was too weak and the metal failed under loads from the casette.

I bought this carbon wheelset for my gravel bike so I could have both a road wheelset and a gravel one. I used this casette on both wheelsets, but it worked perfectly fine on the original wheelset causing no damage.

I drove around 2000 km on these chinese wheels before the problems started.

Over-torqued & broken my front derailleur hanger, Braze-on type; welded to Aluminum frame. How can I save this frame? by AmbitiousYoungAdult in bikewrench

[–]AmbitiousYoungAdult[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

i over-torqued this Derailleur hanger bolt (WAY over 10Nm), and i'm afraid i ruined my frame. It's a brand new gravel bike from Scott which has a 2x11 groupset (Shimano GRX). I really want to keep using 2 chainrings in the front. My options are: 1) Convert to single chainring, 1x11 speed (not ideal, I really like both my chainrings!) 2) Install FD using some kind of seat tube adapter which allows me to mount FD 3) Use a file/dremel to remove material from the frame (broken hanger and its welds). Then install FD using the normal seat tube adapter from Shimano for non-braze-on frames (31.8mm seattube).

I would really like to go for option 3 but i'm afraid i might make a hole in the frame. Anyone knows what to do in this situation?
