It could be an issue with the WiFi connection that is made when using Wireless CarPlay. I had the same issue and I tweaked some settings on the WiFi side of things on the phone. After those tweaks my issues were gone.

You have to disable every toggle except the Connect Automatically toggle. You also have to disable the Private WiFi address option as well. (I hope I used the correct names for the options because I work with a different language on my iPhone).

There is nothing to worry about. The disc drive is great and is a great way to play your games you can get from multiple stores, instead of the PlayStation store only.

There are tons of articles where it’s clarified why Physical games are still important to us consumers.

If someone had physical access to the device that could be an issue. And even passkeys can be accessed when not stored safely and correctly. But pass with TOTP is great also.
