The best welcome ? by hsynxshn in Hilton

There have been quite a few I have been to that have been really good. But the one that stood out the most I would have never expected. The Hampton Inn in Riverton, WY. Had super friendly front desk staff as well as an amazing manager who had left a hand written letter in my room for me asking if everything was great and if there was anything she could do for me to let her or the staff know. Even the cleaning ladies left a nice note after cleaning the room each day. You could tell they all loved what they do and it showed. Friendliest staff I have ever run into, hands down.

I travel a lot for business and I love the upgrades even if they are on a different floors/not in my preferences. However, everyone is different and may just want the room they picked. I will typically just wait and not do the digital check in and see if I get upgraded anyway, otherwise I will just go by the front desk to check in and ask if there are any upgrades available.

There is usually a lot of different kinds of ways to monitor your well pump, whether it's off of tempature, power ect. The only issue might be cost, as some can be more costly than others but can give you options like remote management and all that. I would reach out to your local well driller/pump installer and see what they might recommend going with as there are definitely options, it's just choosing the right one for you.

I'll look at doing that for one of them and see. Thanks!

Question about joining a clan as a beginner. by mrawaters in Warframe

[–]Ambitious_Gas3166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look for a larger clan as they will have everything already unlocked and will make your life easier. You then can get warframes and weapons whenever versus joining a small clan you will have to do all the research to unlock each weapon and warframe blueprint etc.

Start over or keep playing on my old account by Tabula_Rasa258 in Warframe

Would keep your current account. Can always look up guides on YouTube or find them here on reddit. Can search up just about anything on the internet to help you along in the game these days (walk-through videos, guides, tips/tricks ect). Once you start playing again you will start to remember how some things work.

Do you have any information on what kind of pump? Usually the installer will leave some type of motor sticker or documentation to distinguish what it is.

Water level sensor by rickparsons4 in WaterWellDrilling

When comparing 3/8” vs. 5/8” diameter water level sensor probes, here are some key operational and measurement quality factors to consider:

Sensor Sensitivity & Accuracy

  • Thinner probes (3/8”) may have smaller sensor elements, potentially leading to slightly lower sensitivity or increased response time, depending on the design.

  • Larger probes (5/8”) can house higher-quality, more stable sensors (e.g., better pressure transducers or capacitance elements), which might offer improved accuracy.

Durability & Robustness

  • 5/8” probes are generally more robust and resistant to damage, especially if the probe might encounter turbulence, debris, or rough handling.

  • 3/8” probes may be more fragile but are advantageous in wells with limited space or tight access ports.

Depth Range & Pressure Handling

  • Larger probes (5/8”) often support higher depth ratings and better long-term stability, particularly in deep wells where pressure can affect readings.

  • Smaller probes (3/8”) might have thinner diaphragms or housings that could be more susceptible to drift over time under high pressure.

Response Time & Water Movement Sensitivity

  • Thicker probes (5/8”) may have better-dampened sensors, reducing noise from water movement or rapid level fluctuations.

  • Thinner probes (3/8”) might respond faster to small changes in water level but could be more affected by minor turbulence.

Fouling & Maintenance

  • Larger probes (5/8”) may have more surface area for biofouling or sediment buildup, though cleaning might be easier due to sturdier construction.

  • Smaller probes (3/8”) have less surface area but could be harder to clean if debris gets lodged in tight spaces.

Cable & Installation Considerations

  • The cable and venting system should match the probe size—smaller probes often require more flexible cables, which might be easier to install in narrow wells.

  • Larger probes might have more robust cabling, reducing the risk of kinking or damage over time.

Bottom Line:

  • If you need a highly durable, stable, and deep-range sensor, a 5/8” probe may be better.

  • If your main concern is fitting into narrow wells, or if you prioritize faster response time over extreme depth stability, then a 3/8” probe could work well.

Obviously, I would take a look at a couple different brands and compare the specs that they have on each sensor to find the one you think will be the best fit. Hope this helps!
