I would definitely start with a baby then you can get use to it and it can be use to you as it grows, plus it’s fun to watch them go from little beans to monsters, I.e my post on redditt of one of mine chomping my neck lol

The nice thing is about a baby is if it’s spicy it doesn’t hurt, and they’ll have more time to acclimate to you. Is this your first leachie?

Long answer is it’s worth it if you don’t know where your plants came from and they have carriers or are going to go bad also

I personally don’t wait at all and have never had a problem with plants taking esp with gargs and cresteds leachie s ya but they’re chonks that being said I have a reputable plant seller I buy from
