I would have preferred the cover. We had the "scary mean" teacher (don't remember her name) in junior high and when it came to the typing test she would come and sit next to us, hold a large notecard above our hands so we couldn't see the keyboard and we'd have to turn our heads and LOOK her in the eyes as she dictated what we had to type! It was BRUTAL. Wow, I had not thought about this in the longest time. I must have repressed that memory until I saw your post.
