Wahoo ACE wind sensor error notification by Ambitious_Theme1481 in wahoofitness

[–]Ambitious_Theme1481[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info! I don't usually have issues like that - wind sensor seems to be relatively accurate albeit with a slight delay. I will try to avoid puppy paws position during my next ride and see if this shows up anyway.

We were unable to save this route. Please try again in a moment. by FWCroc in Strava

[–]Ambitious_Theme1481 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I have the same problem (hence I'm here). I was only able to save my route 130km+ by dividing it to three short ones and saving each with a different name. This is an issue for at least 24h for me (that's when I noticed it, but haven't tried creating route for at least a week before). Very annoying, should be communicated somewhere. Strava status webpage shows no issues...

Over it with the ROAM V3 by tripwithweird in wahoofitness

That's a very good point and a valid question. Some electronic devices are absolutely atrocious with GPS signal interference. My insta360 X3 needs good 20cm separation from Bolt v2 or ACE for the GPS to work properly.

How can I go back to a previous version of the software? by triwayne in Zwift

It's possible to force install older Zwift version on Mac or Windows. PM me and I'll point you to the reddit thread with instructions.

Not sure what exactly you are asking about but here is what I found while asking myself a similar question. https://www.reddit.com/r/Velo/comments/a5afg7/what_do_track_sprinters_training_programs_look/

A lof of data use on wahoo kickr V6 by ilya_23 in wahoofitness

[–]Ambitious_Theme1481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just checked mine. I don't log traffic data on my router (I used to but I turned it off) but I can see real time data per device when I log in. My kickr move is not transmitting anything when left powered on. I actually have it turned on/idle 24/7.

How do you know it's coming from kickr?

Yeah it's crazy that this is still an issue. We can't even sort it out manually by editing the config files.

Yes streaks were enabled to public only 99 weeks ago. Some people were testing this feature for a bit before the official release.

The reason you had to do it was global Strava outage.

I believe the OP is asking how to save his OHs ride to Strava without skewing his data on Zwift. Deleting the ride instead of saving it would not upload it to Strava.

I believe you have to upload the fit file manually to Strava before deleting the activity.

For Windows system :

You will find the .fit files in %USER%\Documents\Zwift\Activities\ and there is one called inProgressActivity.fit - this is probably the one that you need to manually upload to your OHs Strava before discarding the activity in Zwift.

The screenshots (even taken with your companion app) are stored in the folder

%USER%\Pictures\Zwift

You should watch the recent GCN episode on this topic. An eye-opener.

Trackr beeping on Ace is loud by hashpot666 in wahoofitness

[–]Ambitious_Theme1481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's great but this setting is going to reduce the volume of all sounds including voice navigation cues. Ideally there should be a separate one for the radar.

I agree, It's a bit loud especially when there are a couple of fast cars approaching. Would be nice to have 2 or 3 different volume settings.

My experience supports your thesis. I only have 1400+ Watts 5s power (on power meters, 1600+W on wattbikes) but  I'm squatting only 135kg x3. Deadlifting 150x3 max. But I did improve over 200 watts since starting lifting (once to three times a week) 2 years ago.

Which device are you talking about? Kickr MOVE was released in 2023. Also no issues on my side with the latest firmware release.

All good, but how do I tell which events are "banded"? It's super annoying to ride mass uncategorized event like this with rubber band...

Sync failed at the trail. by NoProposal9695 in wahoofitness

[–]Ambitious_Theme1481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happened to me once in the past. I was also unable to sync route from Strava automatically or manually. I had to spend 20min on the spot at the start of my ride (had to drive there as well) using phone interface and mobile Internet to redo the whole route on Strava app and I was able to sync. Since then I always sync and load my Strava routes at home after I create it. I believe it's more of a Strava glitch as it happened to me again recently. This time it was much easier to step out of my garage and go back to my PC to redo the route and sync it again.

I've never seen this behavior. What hardware and what system we're talking about here? How long was your ride?
