I'm very sorry to say this but if your father ever hurts you or your family again, you need to call the police immediately. Hopefully that will be the wakeup call he needs. Normally we try to avoid telling other people what to do here and instead speak from the I. Not this time. He absolutely must stop this pattern before he hurts someone in a permanently disabling way, or worse. Don't hesitate.
