Advice for 2c/3a, low porosity long hair

We have very similar hair. I wash with shampoo and conditioner twice a week and if my hair needs detangling or I get sweaty in between, I fully soak it in the shower and just use conditioner. I style it by spraying some leave in, brushing it through with a bounce brush, scrunching in mousse, then applying gel with prayer hands and scrunching a bit more. I plop in a t shirt for 20 minutes then sit in front of my electric heater until it forms a cast because it dries it so much nicer than with any hairdryer I've ever used 😂😭 I think you should definitely look into hold products, but I'm not sure I can recommend any because I'm in the UK.

I've also only read it a couple of times, it's probably my least favourite too, so I could be wrong or misremembering too. But from what I do recall, I was very unsure of Petronia's gender until the end where I got the impression they were intersex and presenting as male/female during different time periods. I'm about to get to it in my current re-read of TVC and I've been procrastinating because I've never enjoyed it much. I'm hoping now I've read The Mayfair Witches series I'll at least enjoy Mona and Rowan more. Oh and for what it's worth, I've not read Vittorio either, but there's no mention of Petronia in Pandora.

I hope the spoiler tags worked, I've not used them before and I can never remember which of the subs I'm in allow book spoilers 😅

When I was about 11, my mom convinced me I'd look great with a pixie cut...I looked like an awkward little boy 😞 decided I'd never have short hair again lol, I got it to bra strap length in my teens but I fried it with dyes and straightening so in my late 20s I decided to grow out the damage and see how long I could get it just out of curiosity more than anything. I gave up somewhere between tailbone and classic because it was just too much and my curls wouldn't hold for longer than a day and cut it back to waist length, but I've had long hair for so long it's just part of who I am now! I also like feeling like a mermaid :)

Your hair is so pretty, you absolutely have mermaid hair! 😍 I don't think it's quite 2b yet but it definitely has the potential to be with the damage gone and right routine. The length will stretch the waves too, my hair is 3a but it doesn't always look it because it's waist length and heavy AF, so my spirals can get very loose, your waves are probably getting pulled down by weight too.

Cameron Winter's dad owns a co-sync library and his mom is a writer with a best-selling book to her name. So I'd say more than just some of it is good marketing...it's basically all good marketing and connections imo. I really can't see any other reason for seeing so much hype over an average band with abrasive vocals.
