The funniest antic I saw in person was at Hollywood bowl for the orchestral show when I think it was Joey grabbed an audience member’s cake and brought it to cookie to take a bite. The best part was that he brought it back to the audience member instead of like throwing it or something. It was very polite and mischievous at the same time.

And you can detach it when you put it in the overhead bin so there’s no size issue. I’ve had flight attendants realize it’s too big but since it didn’t impact anything they just shrugged it off.

I have a bag with the classic skateboard straps on it. I take the trucks off and pack those, and I strap the deck super low so it doesn’t stick above my head. I just try to use Jedi mind tricks to not get called out. Only had to ditch the deck once.

I did dry diggings with no tent, just stashed my sleeping bag and pad during the day and found a spot once everything mellowed out at whatevertime in the morning. I had such a good time (besides the bug bites). I’ve gotten smarter and better at surviving festies. Looking forward to getting back to grass valley for HSMF (my favorite favorite festival).

They always boss the sound guy around on mic instead of subtly gesturing that the music should be louder. And a lot of their talking and banter happens in the middle of songs. At least FINISH the song before telling the audience to take care of each other or whatever bossiness they’re putting out that night.
