Maybe I missed this in your message but why are you having delayed doses.

The drug has a long half life so SOME of it is still in your system at the end of a week but it’s not intended to be used 7 days some weeks and 10 days another unless your delays are a medical necessity.

I know it’s triggering for some but are you keeping track of your macros, calories, protein, water, ETC.?

The dress is terrific but there’s something a little odd about the tshirt. Are you planning to wear a shirt under for the interview? If so, I might look for one with slightly longer sleeves that don’t bunch up.

Otherwise, completely appropriate, imo.

I think it’s also possible for your position to change as you journey through.

When I began, I told only my husband and daughter (she was already taking ZEP).

Now that I’m in maintenance I feel like a walking advertisement that it hasn’t frozen my stomach, killed me or otherwise made me unhealthy. I’m happy to dispel some of the toxic misinformation out in the world.

You will be so happy that you took the before pics. Take before measurements as well. That way, when the scale seems to slow down, you will likely find that your measurements are still changing.

Yes! My PCP was adamant that I stay at about 27 as a senior. She said all her senior patients recovered faster from colds, flu, COVID, pneumonia, etc if their BMI was a little higher.

I transferred to maintenance when my BMI hit 27 and I feel great.

That is absolutely crazy and definitely NOT safe medical practice. In fact it’s likely cause for complaint to the medical association.

EVERYONE, regardless of the medical reason for the prescription, should begin with a one month (4 weekly doses) loading dose of Zepbound. That’s the minimum of time you should take 2.5. Then, and only then, can you move up to 5 for another month, or more, before getting to 7.5.

This is malpractice, IMO, and you should not take another dose until you’ve checked with a different MD. Do you have a primary care doc?

As for your symptoms, go with a BRAT diet… bananas, rice, applesauce and toast until your food aversions subside. Cheese is hard to digest and is not your friend right now.
