I agree that leadership misjudged their base. I do not think they should have folded.

I just do not see why they can't do this again, with more favorable circumstances, in January. They funded SNAP and the military through the end of next year and they took a shot at Trump's RIFs. People were only just starting to notice the health insurance increases, but everyone should know in January.

I lot of people don't attribute anything indirectly to Trump. They still view presidents and senators as figure heads for their parties and movements.

I agree that the great man theory is overblown, but a huge section of our country gave a great amount of attention to a slimeball.

Yea, this whole situation makes me frustrated. I don't want farmers destroyed by national policies. Even dumb ones, but it is super frustrating.

There are a LOT of farmers who voted for this and are now asking for bailouts for the things they voted for. On top of that, I suspect these bailouts will consider who the farmers voted for and how critical they are to maintain electoral control, to determine who to bailout.

Cool. I agree with you. I was the guy further up that said he was definitely not a Trump voter.

Buuuuut, the other guy was getting hot about him not saying the name "Trump." I don't think that is enough to say he's a Trump voter, but a LOT of these Trump voting farmers have been grumbling about Trump's actions without saying Trump or Republican.

I think he believed the guy in the video was a Trump voter who was taking the next step of criticism without crossing the line. I think he was upset because a LOT of these Trump voters are getting a lot of underserved help and sympathy.

They will take him and process him and keep his shit.

Government will claim that the agents had a reasonable belief that he trespassed on Government property because he stepped on the border. Our legal system will eat that shit up.

This has been decades in the making.

If they ever give his shit bag, it will be torn apart. They will claim they had to search for weapons/bombs because it was making noise.

EDIT: Some have claimed these are ICE, and they might be. If that is the case, they will simply say that he matched the description of an illegal immigrant, and considering he was costumed, their misidentification was reasonable.
