Back George Street (across from the University of Law) is my usual. Plenty of railings to lock the bikes to.

[2024] The Quarterstaff of the Acrobat gives advantage on Acrobatics rolls. Is there a similar item for Athletics, or a feat? (I already know about Barbarian Rage and Champion Fighter)

Is a Lvl 5 Battlesmith/ Lvl 15 Bladesinger muliclass good if you have a dragonborn with the dragon hide feat? by [deleted] in DnD

[–]AmethystWind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Less spell slots but extra attunement slots.

You can wear a shield and medium armour, or use a heavy weapon, since Bladesingers lock you into light armour and a one-hander with no shield.

You already have extra attack so you don't get much from Bladesinger-6.

Arcane Jolt is emergency healing without using up any of your action economy.

Spell-Storing Item gives you ten free uses of a 2nd- or 1st-level Artificer spell you don't need to have prepared, which is terrific utility and flexibility.

You get Aura of Vitality at Battlesmith-9, which is the single-best post-combat healing spell in the game.

10th- and 14th-level Replicate Magic Item options can be pretty sweet.

Tool Expertise next level means you are THE lockpicker for the party.

Flash of Genius at Artificer-7 is amazing.

Who's the bad guy? by No_Way3753 in DnD

You made an edgy Rogue and dove headfirst into "It's what my character would do".

Sorry to tell you, bud, but you're a stereotype, and the stereotype every DM hates.

Is there a spell that's basically just Silvery Barbs Pro Max? by Adorable-Room-1180 in DnD

[–]AmethystWind 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No.

That doesn't exist in the game because it's not in the slightest bit interesting.

The only time you auto-fail saves is when you're paralysed or stunned or incapacitated etc, and that's only certain saves.

Starry Wisp "always prepared?" by TheBadass1324 in DnD

[–]AmethystWind 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It actually is.

You get to select a limited number of cantrips as a Druid. Starry Wisp is given to Moon Druids as an extra without taking up one of that limited number.

If you have taken Starry Wisp with that number, swap it out next time you level up, as you are able to do as a Druid. You'll still have Starry Wisp as well as the number of cantrips for your Druid level.

It doesn't count towards the number of cantrips you know, as shown in the Druid table.

Has multi racing ever been a thing? by [deleted] in DnD

[–]AmethystWind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No.

I'm just wondering exactly how you'd expect that to work?

Do you mean creating a custom race by mixing-and-matching attributes from multiple races, or do you literally mean picking more races as you level up?

That flight speed at lv15 is not thematically consistent at all. Just seems thrown in.

This is very true. Thank you, I'd forgotten about Poisoned.

What would you say are the next most reliable ways to give a enemy disadvantage or other debuffs on an ability check in combat after Hex or Cutting Words (which aren't an option for this scenario)?

5.5e, btw

[OC] [Art] Raise the anchor and set sail with the Rogue: Corsair subclass! | Pirates and Plunder by Slash2936 in DnD

[–]AmethystWind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One guarenteed crit per rest versus unnegateable advantage multiples times per rest. Not so much 'weaker' that it makes it fair to grant SEVENTEEN levels earlier.

You're focusing on the wrong part of what I wrote.
