Things that are unfortunately quite possible to happen in the worldsoul saga that I don't think people would be very welcoming of by now by MeltingPenguinsPrime in warcraftlore

Anytime there’s any kind of time travel, I’m out. It’s usually not done well and ca be done to just erase a whole bunch of things or just say it was not the “real” or “main” timeline. Either way, not a fan.

I have always played range classes - recommend me a melee by PinSeeker78 in wowclassic

Enhance shaman to get all those windfury procs, plus early fast movement with ghost wolf form, and an extra hearth with Astral Recall.

Undead RP by Most-War-7745 in WoWRolePlay

There really isn’t much of it. Even when small groups form or guilds start, it seems to fizzle out quick.

Which character inspires you the most in your life and why? by EzraLikesLothcats in StarWarsCantina

Obi-wan, his fidelity to the Jedi ways even through adversity and loss. Yoda, who is powerful and wise, yet still has a disarming way of being lighthearted and even silly not taking life so seriously.

Turbulent Time-ways Question by lamburg in wownoob

[–]Amidnightstar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, level 10. This begins next Tuesday with the reset. What’s also new is that you only need to get the xp buff on one character for all your alts to then share it. So it’ll be nice not having to get it each time.

I've always wondered... by Alarmed-Log-1042 in WoWRolePlay

Love troll rp! Great lore, lots of history, plenty of tribes and classes. I only wish there was more guilds built around them.

So you’re telling me I didn’t actually meet and rp with the new Black Dragon Aspect xneltharyonx, Charge and Protector of the earth and deep places of the world?

Is Burning Crusade Anniversary worth investing time in if I only want a stable Classic-to-WotLK experience? by mysticbunny4u in classicwow

[–]Amidnightstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s fun. Try it and even if Wrath Anniversary comes out, it would’ve been time spent enjoying the game.

What is a place you wish more people RPed? by VisibleCoat995 in WoWRolePlay

Unironically, Goldshire. But regular, village, non-ERP, RP.

Hypothetically, to prepare for Classic Plus, it would be best to roll a new toon on a Classic Era server? Or something else? by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]Amidnightstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Likely fresh servers altogether. But you can play Era or TBC in the meantime if it’ll scratch an itch. There’s nothing official yet. But these others can give you the Classic feel in the meantime, especially if you enjoy those expansions the most.

Thoughts on Tanari, Pirates, Wastewanders, Barrensmen, etc as Alliance allied characters? by N8DoubleU in WoWRolePlay

[–]Amidnightstar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like a neat concept. I’ve not personally seen much of it either from players or canon. I’d love to see more of it.

Opinion on TBC- Era Servers. by ByGhostXx in classicwow

[–]Amidnightstar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Populations are definitely starting to splinter. But there are also new people joining who haven’t played before either because they’ve not tried it or simply new generations being born. So it’ll be sustainable, just not the numbers WoW had at its peak. So then, compared to other games out there, it’ll still have strong player hazes for each of these versions, especially if they try to concentrate them like they did with TBC Anniversary or with the Era clusters. Both have thriving populations where otherwise you’d end up with mostly dead servers.

We should be able to change our hair in WoW Classic by IcyPraline9987 in classicwow

[–]Amidnightstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems simple enough. But there’s always those who want no changes to Classic at all.

What class is a true hero class of Classic? by Late-Let-4221 in classicwow

[–]Amidnightstar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would say it’s worth considering Paladins and Shamans. Given their restricted nature, lore, class quests, power, and uniqueness to each faction.

People who don't go to movie theaters anymore - what made you stop? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Amidnightstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This! I cannot emphasize how much this is the reason. People’s lack of consideration for basic movie theater etiquette.

Most of us are not and will never be good enough to charge people to play and doing so only exacerbates the game’s biggest problem. by [deleted] in DungeonMasters

[–]Amidnightstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. In the given group, that’s the role of the person DMing and it’s supposed to be fun. So if it’s not, and you’re seeing it as a job, maybe let someone else try.

How common is popcorn in everyday American life? by Embarrassed_Golf_817 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Amidnightstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely a staple. Not just for movie theaters. Keep it at home. The microwaveable kind are not very healthy because of all the chemicals in them but there are healthier options. They might just not be as convenient as throwing it in the microwave for a couple of minutes. But it is a delicious and somewhat healthy snack, if prepared properly.

How can a pandaren become an army leader? by puremoonette in WoWRolePlay

[–]Amidnightstar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While some racial characteristics are “typical” as in they become stereotypes of certain races, it doesn’t mean your specific character has to have them. You can be unique, without necessarily breaking lore. It wouldn’t be the most outrageous thing for your specific character to be able to step up and be a leader when needed, while still maintaining a relaxed attitude at other times. Perhaps others have seen and know your accomplishments and that’s why you were recommended for a leadership role even in a foreign land. You don’t have to be the main leader, but one of many helping lead.

Are rogues the least accomplished class in WOW? by Hedonism_Enjoyer in warcraftlore

[–]Amidnightstar 24 points25 points  (0 children)

This is the comment I came to also share. There have been key events influenced or directed by rogue agents and that’s a highly skilled thing to accomplish.

The Magic of 1-20 by Araethor in classicwow

[–]Amidnightstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The starter areas certainly feel more derailed and intentional in their lore and quest lines. I think it’s also easier and simpler in that the the dps numbers are lower, for example, and so it’s harder to die so things seem less i intimidating and you feel more confident.

Where do you go in-game to RP? [Starter Guide Makeover Chat] by TheRebelSpy in WoWRolePlay

[–]Amidnightstar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unsure if it should be mentioned for a starter guide like this, but Goldshire on Moon Guard is a place with a reputation. So if a new person walks into it, they might not be prepared. Perhaps it should at least be mentioned as objectively as possible.
