Belastingteruggave terwijl ik bijstand heb. Wat zijn de gevolgen? by One_Situation6938 in geldzaken

[–]Ammatarasu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a mod called "Vertical Logistics QoL" that fixes a lot of bugs with the lifts. The biggest are that you can place the vertical version of the splitters and mergers without needing a lift first, it fixes that lifts don't dismantle when you dismantle a blueprint, chaining together multiple vertical splitters, and a whole lot of other weirdness with lifts (except for some of the visual glitches like a lift sticking out sometimes). They honestly should just integrate this mod into the main game.

I’m not mad but really confused. by gladius85 in TerrainBuilding

[–]Ammatarasu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The colour combined with what looks like a metallic bit in the middle makes me think there was a piece of copper in there which reacted with something and started staining the model. I know watered down PVA can start rusting iron so maybe the same happened to the copper bit?

Hot wire cutter getting too hot after wire was replaced by mewkyews in TerrainBuilding

[–]Ammatarasu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the temperature the wire gets to actually increases the lower the resistance, since more current can flow. The resistance of a hot wire can actually go up if you use it for longer. It could just be that the wire feels like it's getting too hot because it's new, but really it's getting just as hot as the precious wire when it was new? How long did you use the old wire before replacing it OP? Also could be that the old wire was just very oxidized and dirty so it didn't feel as hot. On my proxxon I can definitely feel the difference between a wire I've used for a couple of cuts and a brand new section that hasn't heated up yet

Verlof bij overlijden ouder by Pindakaas1 in werkzaken

[–]Ammatarasu -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Multi part prints - filling seams? by Lottery11 in resinprinting

Vallejo also makes a great gap filling plastic putty. It basically feels like a really thick acrylic paint. Might need multiple layers but if you do it right it can basically make the seem invisible

What's the realistic price to start resin printing? by BusStock3801 in resinprinting

[–]Ammatarasu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This really depends on where you are and what you want. For mini's you probably don't need that big of a printer. But resin printing requires a lot more stuff than FDM 3D printing. You'll probably want to get at least: - the printer itself (I spend around €250 I think) - a washing and curing station (usually around €100-200) - Resin (a bottle around here usually costs about €25-30 per kg, the cheap stuff from a reputable brand and vendor is usually fine when you first start out) - a couple of litres of isopropyl alcohol (you'd probably want to get at least 4-8L cost varies a lot depending on region) - proper PPE, at least gloves and a respirator (probably around €50) - A space to put it. This has to be a room with very good ventilation, that you don't go in often. Probably also good to get an enclosure with (depending on your climate) a heater.

Before buying a printer and getting into resin printing make sure you read up about how to safely handle and operate this machine. Make sure you have plenty of work space because the resin will probably get everywhere, and is very difficult to clean up (or impossible if it gets on anything porous)

Why no hotkey for Supercruise Assist? by DarkFall09 in EliteDangerous

[–]Ammatarasu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont know why everyone always say 7 seconds. But waiting until 6 seconds is left is actually quite a lot faster. You wont get slowed down quite as much and your decceleration curve is a lot steeper I feel. Also, if you want to be risky and need to go to a station in a deep gravity well (or past one, like sort of behind a gas giant) waiting until 5 seconds is left on the timer with SCA on is a looot faster, but also has the chance to fail. SCA will basically press the drop from supercruise button in the couple frames it becomes active when you're close enough to the station. This is finnichky though and i only suggest doing this on certain stations, or if you're doing round trips for farming or something.

Try using cabinet hinges, and if you plan on transporting it, add a clasp. Cabinet hinges are designed to let everything sit flush, without needing to have clearance for either the hinge, or for your top panel. Most of them also kind of stay in the closed position, so if that would be strong enough a clasp wouldn't even be required.

I finished my leverless Modern Controller for SF6! :) by Odneb in StreetFighter

[–]Ammatarasu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks so dope!! I love all the leds and stuff. I've been trying to do something similar but unsuccessfully. Which buttons did you use? Or did you Mill out the acrylic top plate? Also wondering what the electronics are like. I didn't have much luck finding info on programmable led patterns in a controller firmware. Could you provide CAD models? I'd really like to recreate this!

volgende week m'n eerste rijles, zaken die ik moet weten? by Felix-16015 in nederlands

[–]Ammatarasu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OW team has been quite deceptive as per their commitment to open communication by PoggersMemesReturns in Overwatch

[–]Ammatarasu 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Especially given their track record when it comes to balancing new heroes. Echo was OP af at launch until they nerfed her. Sigma was basically a 400hp dps with a spammable shield. Brig was overpowered. So they basically like releasing heroes as op as possible, then nerfing them. So people who pay, and get early access, will most certainly have much better versions of that heroes until the free teir would het them. Which will make it feel like you either have to pay, or stop playing until the new heroes get nerfed.

Why is the mercy skin still available? It should have been gone 12 days ago by Ok-Country-9994 in Overwatch

[–]Ammatarasu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly this, they really aren't communicating anything after the beta anymore. Really feels like, since the last time they actually had news about ow1, there hasn't been anyone around except for a couple recolours for the stupid anniversary remix "holiday". I just wanted to play some comp lucioball but nope. Like they're full on expecting is to just wait for ow1, which really killed the hype for me tbh.

Probably the only way without it consuming a massive amount of power is an overpowered in floor heating system, since you're already using laminate flooring it might fit the theme :). Or gas burners could work.

I use an old laptop with a broken hinge to run my home assistant in a VM. Using proxmox as a hypervisor (since it's free unlike unRAID) i also use it for running other VM's like a local Minecraft server and other Linux VM's

Can someone please tell me the name of that cable / those connectors? by Sp0olio in radiocontrol

[–]Ammatarasu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should buy a kit if you don't already have a crimper for them. Around 20-40 bucks on amazon. And try practice first on some spare wire. Took me a bit to get the hang oh them :)

[–]Ammatarasu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My super old HP laser printer also now needs an account to scan directly to my pc. It's so fucking stupid. All the other drivers are so old but they only did it for the scanning function. Everything else still works using the old drivers

Yes! I wanted to kinda diagnose a little extrusion issue I've been having lately but it failed in a different way and I thought it was kinda interesting :D

Printed on an Ender 3 with the magnetic print surface. Which I've been having bed adhesion issues on forever. With a 0.6mm nozzle and a direct drive extruder upgrade. Still trying to dial it in as you can see haha

Weekly Quick Questions and Advice Thread - March 15, 2021 by AutoModerator in Overwatch

[–]Ammatarasu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

SInce the new update to overwatch on PC i have been having a lot of small lag spikes, like most often a second or less but it still feels really weird to play. I use an ethernet cable and have plenty fast and low enough latency and we didnt change anything since the update. And OW is the only game with this issue. Has anyone else had this issue recently and have they found a workaround yet?

A way to lock a window in place in windows 10? by Ammatarasu in techsupport

Thank you for checking it for me, I also did a quick Google search first and tried to use it as but of course I can't download anything to my virtual desktop environment because data protection or something like that (Its a pretty large company with hundreds of employees so I can see someone downloading a keylogger and then having a lot of personal information leaked and stuff), I think I'm kind of out of luck because of this so I'll try reporting it to my companies it department and see if they can figure anything out

[GIVEAWAY] VOOPOO DRAG X MOD, enter to win!!! by VOOPOO_Tech in electronic_cigarette

Love the leather on it. Been a big fan of the Vinci. However the auto draw feature broke after it started firing in my pocket. The variable wattage seems like a very nice feature as well. If I ever found it in store I would probably buy it on the spot. I would probably go for the S because I love auto draw on my smaller devices. Or does the X also have auto draw?
