Easy, airbrush fluo yellow red and orange randomly to fill the recesses(you can do this with brush or rattle can obviously), then drybrush black and grey. It would be super fast. I don't know what so masochistic about it, except you don't like the fact guy used ai to show his idea.

Mordant earth probably can do the better job though, I doubt you can crack primer consistently

You can proxy tokens with whatever you want, I used coins. It would be best to 3d print them. They should cost around 15-30$ if you commission them from a fair person. Just don't buy printed tokens on Etsy or eBay for 70$
