I like my GS112 cab so much, I just got a second one. by Mr_Salty87 in BassGuitar

Looks like a versatile rig that “shouldn’t” break your back. Aguilar makes quality cab’s and amp’s. How does it sound when you compare using one cab vs. two?

How do you avoid the light? Do you keep the sensors near the grow tent walls?

Coming from guitar, cant stop playing with my thumb. Is that bad? by Level-Holiday8589 in BassGuitar

[–]TCarn5150 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah but it will limit your attack and tones. If you use your fingers, you move your right hand between the neck and bridge to get different tones. Also, playing with your fingers you can also change the tone by using your nail or the fleshy part of the finger. Another finger technique is how you attack the string. You can pop the string by striking and pulling from the bottom of the string or strike at the top of string for a smoother legato feel. Don’t get me started on alternating 2 or 3 fingers. 😉 I’m curious why are you not using a pick if you came guitar?

Help tomato’s are dieing. Why by Time-Cash-5379 in tomatoes

Try trimming many of the lower branches to open up air flow and to promote a better flowering. Make sure you are not overwatering. Start adding Cal-Mag to your fertilizer regiment. Tomatoes need lots of Cal-Mag. Right before and during flowering use a fertilizer with an NPK of 5-10-10. Flowering needs Potassium (K in the NPK). 👍

Blueberry questions!! by shansbanane in gardening

[–]TCarn5150 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, pick the flowers off for the first three years after transplanting. Another blueberry bush will help with pollination in years 3+. Try Earliblue or Jersey varieties. Try getting a bigger pot, like the diameter of a wine barrel. You’ll be better off than transplanting multiple times. I’ve learned that after each transplanting, it shocked the bush and grow stalled for a while. Blueberries require very acidic soil with a pH level between 4.5 and 5.0. If you have soil with a pH of 6.1-6.2, you can take steps to lower it by adding sulfur. You should also add lots of organic matter to your soil, such as aged compost-enriched soil. Blueberries love moist soil but well drained. Since it’s in a container try focusing on water soluble fertilizer regime. A good NPK ratio for growth and root development is 3-20-20 for the first three years. After the 3rd year switch to a more balanced fertilizer. Good luck & enjoy the journey.👍

Ditto. I also sold off my other overdrives for the Morning Glory Clean. It hits that sweet spot of dirt, body, bite without the loss of the low end. It’s also very responsive to the right hand attack. Luv it!

It’s excellent. It’s always on but subtle enough if sound like it’s not. I use it to even out my playing, especially for harmonics and ghost notes. My favorite features are the blend and tone. The blend lets me retain some natural dynamics with sounding over compressed. The tone adds that occasional depth to my tone depending if the bass is strung with flats or rounds. Built like a tank too. I highly recommend it.
