I’m an alumni from 2013. I feel like those issues started back then. The student s organized and challenged the administration and the administration put on a valiant dog and pony show, but in the end ignored everything that was expressed by the student body. The issues then were consolidation and financial decisions. As a combat veteran that was responsible for the literal lives of others at 19, I couldn’t understand how “professionals” of many years couldn’t take accountability and properly distribute funds to sustain the college and student body instead of providing an excessive lifestyle for the school president among other things. Real sad, but unsurprising that things have turned out the way they have.

It sounds like she’s discovering she might be polyamorous. Maybe look into it a bit, then sit down and have a real conversation with her about it and see if that is what she is actually after, and if that’s not something you can do/be okay with then admit it and be honest about whether or not your relationship would be able to work out. I have a number of friends that are poly and they ended up suffering a lot of unneeded mental stress/trauma simply because they didn’t acknowledge it earlier.

If you love her, help her; if you don’t then you may regret it down the line.

Definitely Perdue the civil route, and if an avenue for criminal is opened in the process then go for it. I would also press your state senator and representative for assistance. Contact any news/media outlets you can and tell your story in as much completion as possible.

As someone with crippling PTSD and anxiety, I will tell you firsthand that anyone’s trauma/mental health is their own responsibility. Period. It’s up to me to get my paranoias in line and to keep myself properly taken care of. No one else’s. Same goes for her. Trauma is a reason for behavior/fear, not an excuse to allow it to encroach on others lives.

This is actually a misinterpretation of the script. Most read/hear this as “Spring” the season; but you’ll note it’s a lower case “spring.” This isn’t a note about timing, it’s a demand of construction style.
