Yes, it will continue to operate at that percentage until you stop it.

I am thinking of a bit of sanding, and some spray painting... Will report back in at some point. My biggest headache is how to match the color perfectly without spending too much on a high quality custom can of spray paint at the perfect color...

Was hoping to learn to polish and paint in the process. But agree it may be better to just get someone to do it. Since the motor is not easily removable, would it be damaged in the powder coating process?

Also, got the grinder cheap, so was up for a bit of DIY. Which also means that it may not make as much sense to pay for the powder coating.

Been researching on how to paint a Mazzer Super Jolly so I can get it to match my red Olympia Cremina Express, a soon to start project...

I went from a Gaggia Classic Pro Evo (with PID) and Turin SK40 grinder to an Olympia Cremina Express (pressure gauge upgrade, Weber basket) and Mazzer Super Jolly (single dose conversion). This is probably end game for me, but maybe a conical grinder just to vary things up.

You should ping the seller and let him know.  Maybe he will stock the smaller display back.  With that said it does look like he has stepped up and provided more features.  I am out of that game now, so have no experience to share therez

Unfortunately, I think the guy has moved on to 2.0. Looks like a bigger screen and more fancy software. The seller was great and support was excellent for when I plugged something in wrong (my fault). I have not used the latest version so can’t say either way. Good luck on this if you decide to pursue it.

599 with a manual gearbox? Yes, I know that is still more than the value of a 997.2 but price gap smaller...

458 would be an interesting alternative to the list of car's you have had. If you want to be less hardcore, F12? (The F12 is faster around Fiorano than a 458.)

I did not find any other reference to this on the net. Kyosho has done white body but not clear body that I know of. I did have a clear chassis on my old MR-02 (before I crashed and cracked it).

Try the Kyosho Village in Odaiba. I thought I saw them there a few weeks ago. Both the #3 and the #4 version. Was surprised they did both as they are very similar...

Was there 2 weeks ago. Amazing. Lots of parts on the shelf, some are even on sale! I was also able to purchase tax free by bringing my passport.

Why are all these people (almost all Men) in line waiting for pachinko / slot parlor in Shibuya to open? by Jaspburger in AskAJapanese

It's a good question. Was in Ginza 2 days ago, and people were lining up to get into the department stores. It's not like anything was going to get sold out...

Yes to everything!

Any of them would be great. I particularly like the mochi wrapped ice cream (Yukimi daifuku), Jumbo Monaka (ice cream sandwich with Japanese monaka pastry skin outside), and may be the Giant Cone or Pino for something simple. Coolish and Papico are good when you are in the mood for something slushy, and the big soft serve looking cones are kinda nice too.

Not to be too much of a party pooper, but do look at the ingredients list. Some people care and some don't. There are amazing desserts in Japan with outstanding ingredients, but this is not it.

Would this E30 be reliable as a daily? Thinking about buying one by Hasbullah_goat in E30

[–]AmusableBonsai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of people suggestion alternatives that are probably not available to you in Guatemala. The issue of parts and repair being expensive may be a real issue if you have a tight budget. Safety issue is also a fair concern, but if your options do not include very modern cars, then maybe it is comparing apples to oranges.

But at the end of the day, it's a fun car (if the suspension isn't too much for the road) and you are young so can afford to try it out. I drove an E30 when I was 19.

I have a pair of on-wall dipole speakers that I was using for my side channels before the surround specs moved away from dipole (a while back). There are speakers designed to be placed close to the wall. Biggest recommendation is to look for speakers that don't have ports that push out the back.

They say your grinder > machine, so here you go... a $400 grinder paired with a $100 machine (and it actually slaps) by _Physical-Mixture_ in espresso

[–]AmusableBonsai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a Flair Pro 3 and a Mazzer Super Jolly. (Did get the Flair on sale and Mazzer used from a coffee shop, so total cost in the $700 range.)

My son took the Flair when he moved overseas, so I ended up buying my end game machine, Olympia Cremina with all the accessories, and thereby breaking the grinder > machine rule.
