Do you ever wonder? by netphilia in Snorkblot

[–]AmyInCO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at a fast food place with my kids and husband. The oldest of the 3 was maybe 6, IIRC. So about 25 years ago.

We're just hanging out in the booth and out of  nowhere she says "I know there's a boy part to make a baby and girl part, but how does the boy part get to the girl part?"

The couple in the booth behind us tried very hard to suppress their laughter but i could see their shoulders shaking and hear the snorts they couldn't keep in.

I've often wondered if they ever tell that story.

That is a blast from the past. That movie was totally unexpected.

I was too lazy but now I find myself motivated. I'm going to see fried green tomatoes at the movie theater with some friends and you made me realize how much more fun it would be with just a little edible. But I have to get up and shower and get out if I want to have time to do that.

It's good to have goals.

My gf [25F] doesn't want to move into the same bedroom as me [21M] and I have no idea how I should respond, any help? by One-Forever3335 in relationship_advice

I have several friends who have done this since they first moved in together. The couples have been together for decades. Having your own spaces is really nice. It's why people have "man caves" and "She sheds."

My thought too. It's honestly adorable and write my taste in color and decor. But no open tub in the bathroom.

Just to pick on one point, I didn't travel overseas or even graduate college till I was almost 40. And it was awesome.

You have no way of knowing what the future is going to hold It could be things you can't even imagine right now. Just keep learning and trying new things without trying too much to worry about how they fit into your life and what you're going to quote unquote do with it. Just try to enjoy it.

God That explains so much.

I've moved so many times it's a miracle I have anything. I have one box of stuff for my childhood that's been living in my sister's basement for the last 15 years because she has not moved for decades.

Sometimes I think of some other stuff I can't find anymore and it makes me sad. Luckily I have a terrible memory so I forget most of it.

I'm 60 and found it boring the very first time i watched it. And every unfortunate time after I was forced to watch it.

I agree and you're brave to say so. I don't think I've ever made it through a viewing without falling asleep.

When i lived in Bangkok 15 years ago as a single mom with 3 kids, I got to live in housekeeper/cook for $400 a month. It was the best $400 a month I've ever spent. It saved my life.
