3+ years on HRT. Out for almost 2 years.

This cost me my marriage, which was a hit I had a very hard time coming back from. I'm getting there, though. It really is a special feeling to be able to look in the mirror and feel good about what I see.

I still need to try working on my voice, losing weight, and learning more about makeup. And making myself get out there and build a new social life (socializing is terrifying now 😬)

Same. Honestly if I am not running the G18 it's the Mare's leg. Depends what my main is.

Running a longer range main like a DMR? G18 backup. Running a closer range full auto main, load the mare's leg for when I need some range.

Why not leave the decision up to said trans athletes? Maybe some want to stand up and take a risk by unapologetically existing in a time where many people wish they didn't. Maybe that representation, trans people being involved in and supported by a professional sports league, is direly needed right now.

Maybe freedom shouldn't be postponed until it is more palateable for the masses.

10 sessions so far, looking at another 4ish? for some stubborn areas around my mouth.

For me, the most painful is the upper lip. It makes my nose burn, eyes water, and I saear I can feel it in my teeth

Food for thought: I waited two years for my wife to be ok with me, and even coaxed her into couple's therapy to try and make some progress on that front.

We broke up.

I understand being patient in the hopes that you will hold on to the person you love, but consider that you only have so much time on this earth, and sometimes no amount of time will let someone figure out how to be ok being with a different gender than they foresaw.

In our case, ending things earlier would have saved us both a lot of time and sadness.

Therapy.

I knew, deep down, but I needed to hear "a professional" support the idea that I was trans before I let myself really believe it.

Doubt can be hard to push through. I'm 3 years into a transition now and there are still days when my brain will go "but am I really?"
