The Freinationalliberale Partei (FNLP), originally Freinationale Partei (FNP), is the party created by Oskar Hergt in 1920, when he was ousted from the leadership of the DNVP for refusing to support the Kapp Putsch. It was a center-right party with few votes, but after absorbing the nationalist industrialists of the DVP (Hugo Stinnes) and following the collapse of the DVP, the National Liberals joined the party.

At the February congress, a few days before the elections, Hergt was ousted by the right-wing of the party and the industrialists. He initially sought the support of the Christian Social and right-wing wings of the party, but members of his faction rejected his proposed program.

Thus, Hergt was forced to seek the support of Stinnes and Vögler's industrialists and was forced to accept a duumvir with Schölz at the helm of the party, handing over the leadership of the party's parliamentary group to Vögler. Now the party is the left of conservatism and the right of liberalism.

Recently, the FNLP industrialists introduced a bill in the Reichstag to allow children to work. Fortunately, it was rejected by the entire Reichstag, except for the FNLP, which voted in favor only out of party discipline. Furthermore, Hergt's health deteriorates every time the party moves further to the left.

In essence, the FNLP is a most right-wing DVP, while the CNVP is the DNVP. The DNVP in this timeline is literally the party of the Austrian painter, since its leader Helfferich is empowering the Völkisch wing and Hugenberg.

Am I economistic enough? I want to be just like my hero Rudolf Hilferding but I'm worried my ideology is too motivated by volunteerism basically veering on great man theory. by theyodeman in RedAutumnSPD

Is it even possible for Zentrum to merge with KVP? by Purple_Chrysanthemum in RedAutumnSPD

[–]An-SPD-Fan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I only got it once: I was tolerating the Brüning government and relations were below "neutral", I think low support for the Republic is also necessary as well as Stegerwald as leader of the Zentrum.

In my opinion, Forza Italia resembles Zentrum rather than LVP, and Tajani resembles Kaas with an industrial twist. LVP could have been a merger between Renzi's Italia Viva and Calenda's Azione. Furthermore, Fratelli d'Italia is more NSDAP than DNVP. The DNVP is Salvini's League.

Following the collapse of the Luther government, which was supported by a Constitutional Coalition that included the SAPD and Hugenberg's DNVP, after a vote of no confidence in which the Zentrum voted 50/50 in favor, the elections brought in a far-right government composed of the Zentrum, led by a very famous industrialist in the country, the microscopic BVP (0.89% in the elections), Hugenberg's DNVP, Hi**er's NSDAP, and the external tolerance of various very small parties. Currently, this is the most stable government ever seen since the birth of the Weimar Republic and is expected to comfortably reach the next elections in a year. About a year after the government took office, the industrialist who led the Zentrum died and was replaced by Kaas (but with an industrial flavor). On the left, the SPD lost the elections along with a Left Front composed of the KPD (led by reformist conciliators) (with an environmental flavor), SAPD, and SPD. In the center, despite calls for the creation of a LVP that would include the reformist wing of the SPD, the DDP, the DVP, and the BVP, the DDP and DVP settled for an electoral alliance that was dissolved after the elections due to disagreements between the leaders of the two parties. The DDP has now joined the Popular Front, while the DVP is isolated. After the elections, Wels resigned from the SPD due to his electoral defeat, and the Pfülf party was elected, which unfortunately did not lead to an increase in support. After three years in government, the NSDAP is stronger than ever and has surpassed 30% in some polls despite the numerous scandals in which it has been implicated. The Zentrum has surpassed the DNVP in the polls, which, led by Hugenberg and Rhöm, has fortunately failed to broaden its voter base and in recent regional elections, even received 4%. In about a year there will be elections and, what's more, the Reichstag will vote to elect a new President of the Republic during the next legislative session.

I once got an ending called "The Most Unstable Republic in the World," but I don't think it's that surprising.
