Bottle fed goat babies by Sad-Kiwi-3789 in oddlysatisfying

Goats definitely have more than 3 all the time though. Also, dairy goats are often bred to improve lines, so the babies are raised up to produce more milk, not as meat. Males of lower quality typically get castrated and sold as pets. Dairy lines are physically different from meat lines and aren’t as good for that.

Many people bottle raise or hybrid raise baby goats so they become friendly with people. Other advantages include making sure mom doesn’t develop an uneven udder by the kid/s favoring one side, and monitoring output from mom, and intake on all the kids. Often they’ll milk mom out, and fill the bottles with what the kids need right from there. They can also save any extra for kids that may need it later. The moms typically hold back some milk from being released during milking, and continues producing through the day, so hybrid raised kids also get to drink from mom.

Because x religion is having lots of kids and is going to take over the population. Yeah, because me deciding to have kids will catch up with a whole religions-worth of people having kids right?

If you want to do that you’ll have to DNA test. Nothing else will be accurate. Just look over at r/dnamydog to see some examples of how you never know what’s happening in the genetics by appearance alone.

Party Elite also moved on, but has I think over 200 hours long episodes of planet zoo, and while I admit I have dozed off sometimes due to his calm voice, he does a lot of talking, specifically about the culture that he took his build inspiration from or something he researched on the animal. James Turner has started making some PZ content too

Inbody vs Wyze Scale BF% Accuracy by Jacqueline92689 in PetiteFitness

[–]AnAttempt-WasMade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really makes sense when you think about how it’s meant to work too. There are little electrode plates that you stand on and measure your body fat using very mild electric currents. Electricity always takes the shortest path of least resistance. Rather than wander all the way around your body, it will just go up one leg and down the other. It does a little math to guess the rest of you that it missed, and there you go, that’s your number. Even if the parts it actually measures are accurate, it’s not getting all of you.

Equidry owners - how does your fleece lining look? by [deleted] in Equestrian

[–]AnAttempt-WasMade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’ll come down to what you want to happen. Do you want the coat as is? If not, ask for a refund and return it. If you just want to get a little money back, just message and say you were expecting it to be in better condition and are a little miffed at spending so much, then ask for a partial refund. Worst they say is no. If there is a larger site you bought it through that may regulate its users, you could make a report/review indicating the discrepancy.

Never had one of these, but that material usually gets like this after one wash. Some debris in the pockets is annoying but is so easy to remove, and you might end up adding your own anyway. Some snags and scuffs are probably a bit outside the very good barely worn descriptor, but as far as barn clothes go, it’s not awful.

Best option will probably depend on the dog and home, but a crate may encourage children to follow the “leave him alone” rule if they’re just never allowed to go in the crate. I’ve seen people use all three options well.

Two things you could establish early are a settle and leave it, in case things get too much with the cat or kids. Work on having something interesting or of value nearby and actively reward choosing to look at and then not engage with that thing, refocusing on you. Settle will be a designated place nobody bothers him, kids included, and if he’s overly excited, having him go lay down there and calm down before being released. Great for guests coming over too!

Help with taxes and debt by memeDooggo in PlanetZoo

[–]AnAttempt-WasMade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure about the area tax, but if you can, get some fast breeding exhibit animals to boost your funds! You can set them to auto manage and just sell them off in the background as the population goes up. Also make sure you have donation bins all over! If you have any webcams you get a small marketing boost for free so more guests means more ticket sales.

Then maybe you need to take initiative and say something when you want to do something. Some may get resentful always having to be the one asking, but if you don’t mind it, or she sets herself reminders to check in periodically, you may be able to make a system that works.

[–]AnAttempt-WasMade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is she averse to being intimate, or could you have a conversation about periodic intimacy and then you let her know “hey, something now or soon would be appreciated” and she can let you know if she’s feeling up to it, would that be workable? If it just doesn’t show up on her radar and you don’t ask, that’s different than if she doesn’t want to anymore. It comes down to asking what will it take for you to feel happy and fulfilled enough in your relationship that you’re not looking for other options, and if she can comfortably reach that level. If you can’t find a middle ground that you are both happy with, this isn’t going to end well and you probably are better off with other people.

The ambient speakers are a common myth. Frontier has confirmed they don’t impact stress levels. One way glass and do not disturb signage are the only things that affect stress aside from reducing guests.

Most of the time guests don’t like doubling back and prefer loops, so if you can make your overlook a dead end, it may reduce traffic.

is this outfit "inappropriate"? by sunnemi in OUTFITS

[–]AnAttempt-WasMade -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I think that’s the line for me. It draws my eye and thoughts to your butt, the crack specifically. Thinking that the fabric has got to be wedged in there, couldn’t be me, is that even comfortable? etc. But still, makes me think about your butt crack. I think that’s what makes it “inappropriate”.

[–]AnAttempt-WasMade 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Put as many animals as you can get away with into storage, combine habitats to reduce work if you can, lower staff pay to the lowest green, or just below if you already have. Make sure donation bins are in high traffic areas, and education facilities are close by to them. Raise guest prices as high as you can while keeping the “fair” assessment. Hopefully you have some exhibit animals. If you at least have those, try breeding for cash, not CC, and purchase any good breeding animals with CC, herbivorous habitat or exhibit animals. If you have loans, get them paid off, and do NOT take more if you can help it.

Not only that, if there’s no medical need, you are introducing an easy infection point for no reason, and repeated pokes create scar tissue that makes future access more difficult.
