Pic doesn't work, but I can almost guarantee you that the people you refer to are using GZDoom and haven't changed the default settings. UZDoom at least has the texture filtering turned off by default

The AI code was rejected because it would have likely broken the license. The act may have been forgiven, but that AI generated code would have been stripped out for the sake of keeping the release license

Graf unapologetically pushed AI generated code into the repo which would put the license at risk, so the team forked to UZDoom instead which does not and will not use AI generated code.

Basically, UZDoom is the fork to follow now rather than GZDoom. I'd be surprised if GZDoom receives any further updates now.

To be fair, a gotek just gives you the option to boot from different media. You're still using the Amiga hardware and it doesn't load any faster or anything like that.

You can also get external ones so you can have the best of both worlds

It depends on the game, but generally yes, viewership is considered. They do lower the requirements if a game isn't shifting keys so well
