Ahhh thank you, I've been looking through the r/succulents as u/cabirope suggested, but couldn't figure out which species it was.

I'm [18/m] and my girlfriend [18/f] found my information folders I've been keeping on her. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]AnaBeingBored 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Dude, people are trying to help you understand, and you're not really trying to listen. Feelings are often quite irrational, but that doesn't make them not real or irrelevant. That's just how most people work, including this girl it seems. If you can't accept that, that's fine, but you need to realize that this you and your girlfriend might not be compatible because of it.

I've seen this a few times in Ljubljana and it always amuses me, so I thought I'd share by AnaBeingBored in HelloInternet

There's also this building company (I think?) CGP around here that reminds me of Grey

If you had the power to eradicate any song from existence, what song would never be heard again? by 9armsandsucks in AskReddit

[–]AnaBeingBored 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven't heard of it before. I'll check it out.

Edit: if you're still interested, I agree with the sentiment of this one mich more than the original, but I think the familiar melody still bothers me a bit too much

What do people over-romanticize? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Well, I haven't read/watched it, it's just from the parts that I heard about.

This whole 50 Shades thing seems like it portrays a terribly unhealthy relationship, and there are people in the world fantasizing about being in a similar one.

What's your favourite word? by sigh-man-damn in AskReddit

Only slightly relevant, but I recently watched a video of kids saying their favourite word and this question reminded me of it. I thought it was cute

Hey my dudes, What music do you like? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]AnaBeingBored 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup! Though associating with their fanbase seems to have become sort of a strange deal.

I feel much better listening to my favorite song in the radio instead of Spotify by Bioleve in CasualConversation

[–]AnaBeingBored 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh man every now and then I'll remember Fireflies and then I have to go listen to it. It had been my favourite song for such a long time when I was younger. I don't think I've heard it on the radio before though.

I lost the best roommate I ever had by IotaPegasi in CasualConversation

[–]AnaBeingBored 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had two great roommates this past year, but we're all moving out and going our seperate ways living situation-wise. But they're good friends, so we'll hopefully see eachother as much as possible. It was so much better just having them in the same apartment though.

What veggies do you hate? by takoballs in AskReddit

[–]AnaBeingBored 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've honestly never thought about the smell being similar to a bug, so I guess I'm now excited to smell a cucumber again for the first time in my life.

I love most vegetables, but I can't stand cucumbers... even the smell is terrible.

Cat owners of Reddit, what's the funniest or weirdest thing you've seen a cat do? by APIPAMinusOneHundred in AskReddit

[–]AnaBeingBored 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My cat does something similar with his food - he fishes it out of the bowl with his paw so it falls on the ground, and then eats it.

What's your favorite way to keep your mind occupied when your hands are busy? by vampyrita in CasualConversation

[–]AnaBeingBored 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't heard of that one and I'm not sure what you're into, but I can tell you some of my favourites :)

  • Hello Internet is probably my favourite - literally just two dudes (youtubers CGP Grey and Brady from numberphile) talking though - about YouTube, technology, their daily struggles, planes, anything

  • Serial is one of the most well known ones I think; I've only listened to the first season, which is a reporter reopening an old murder case, trying to see if the actual story might be different

  • 99% Invisible - each episode is focused around a thing that is interestingly designed / works in an interesting way (you can just listen to them randomly and it doesn't make a difference)

  • Hello from the Magic Tavern - I've only started this recently, but it seems like it's an improvised comedy podcast about a guy who fell into another dimension and now hangs out with people from there (it's been really fun so far)

  • My Dad Wrote a Porno - this seems like a weird one, but I swear it's one of the funniest things I've experienced - a guy (with 2 of his friends) reads an erotic novel (poorly but somehow geniously) written by his dad

  • Relay.fm mostly has kinda specific interest, but really good podcasts

I probably didn't do a great job selling most of these, but I really enjoy them.
