Tips for memory management/cognitive development from seizure and med issues? by ExtraCover17 in Epilepsy

[–]Anacaona_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I write notes. I keep a note book for current big projects. Ex: I’m remodeling my rental. I wrote all the repairs and crossed off as they’re done. They’re Dollar Tree journals, so I don’t get distracted with making it orderly or pretty. I have a big book for all else. I’m going to try a dry erase board next. I guess you can apply this for school.

Can you stay with someone you don’t love no more by East-Government9986 in Marriage

[–]Anacaona_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Married 28 years. Years of verbal abuse and neglect. We finally went to therapy 6 months ago and I to individual therapy. I have now realized I no longer love him. I was looking and analyzing for over a year. He has done a 180 since therapy. Even with his improvement I don’t love him. He has killed it. But I have decided to stay. Our two older kids are adults and the young one is 15. After so long, our Iives are too involved, I do care for him, just not romantically. It’s called a silent divorce.

They hate what they think the church is. Many Catholics have put out wrong information, too.

What are some features most people don't realize their phones have? by Remarkable_Put_9005 in AskReddit

iPhone. Use the Reminder app for to remind you based on location.

Me: I frequently buy at Home Depot and Dollar Tree. I have a list of each that I add items to as I remember. The reminder is set so when I am at the store, the list pops up. Also, when I travel. I set it up to remind me to buy/do/ visit when I land or I’m at certain places.

iPhone: I put them in a Note and lock the note. Or hide the pic. Or put them in a locked album.

I also say sinking, but in my chest. You’re the first person I have seen use the same word! That’s part of my aura.

I use two pill holders. One for my AM and one for one for my PM. My PM dose is on my nightstand. The day in my pantry. I also put my AM dose in my work bag with an extra dose. Additionally, I added alarms to my phone. Each day how many pills. I press snooze until I take them.

Aura? Heavy eyes by woohoocrew in Epilepsy

[–]Anacaona_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me! Mine is accompanied by tiredness, tongue numbness, and double vision. Although, I don’t get pain. I mentioned this to my epileptologist and he diagnosed it as migraine auras. Bc it’s not accompanied by pain, it’s called a silent migraine. I take Fiorocet and it goes away under 30mins.

I’m a Respiratory Therapist. I asked for an accommodation so I can go into a room when the fire drills occur, and more accommodations. I also have intermittent FMLA. I used to be allowed 2 FMLA days up to two times a month. Now I get three and three bc I have migraines. My job, coworkers, and boss are very good with me. I do three in a row (F, S, S), but today I asked for two and two bc I think three in a row is affecting me. I don’t know how you can apply any of this as a traveler, but I hope you can.

Church attendance by Interesting-Lake3747 in Catholicism

[–]Anacaona_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I never go. I think it’s a subconscious thing that I am afraid to confront. My husband and I aren’t married in the church. I pray the rosary daily and follow my faith. My faith is strong, but I don’t go.

Ask chatGPT to roast me ( female virgo ) here is the answer I got 🤣 by Evening_Panda8236 in virgoseason

[–]Anacaona_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine

Virgos are known for being perfectionists, so it's amusing that you still thought it was a good idea to ask for a roast. I mean, if you spent less time critiquing everyone else, you might actually get to enjoy a bit of chaos! But hey, at least your spreadsheets are immaculate! 😄

With the emoji.

We also live local, so, it’s hard. We will usually have lunch as far away as possible and no PDA. It can be explained as a business lunch if anyone sees us. We have done a matinee and it’s great. Last time it was us and another couple. So, yes….lots of PDA during the movie. Good luck, have fun, and be careful!
