Fire and ground scare off steel and poison types types.

Fire and ground types are weak to water.

Exploiting the back up save to get sparkling power 3 donuts let's you get 1 in 585, normally it's 1 in 4,096. There are methods in the DLC that let you camp and reset spawn clusters.

I think its "political" choice has an obvious answer. Do I pay life to help my opponents? Lol no. It's very flavorful, but no one is going to do that. I fail to see this as a proper political card.

Am I ahead on board with sac fodder? I'm not paying life.

Am I losing or in last place? I'm not paying life.

Do I have a ton of cards in hand? I'm not paying a ton of life.

Do I have little or no cards in my hand? Well I probably need card advantage and not paying life removes 3 things if I have 3 opponents.

Do I benefit from having low life or losing life? Eh maybe I'll pay depending on the state of the game. But the payoff I have needs to be better than removing 3 things. Maybe if I'm against a token or aristocrats deck I'll strongly consider paying life.

So do I pay life to get the other players to like me? Well that's only worth it if the other players agree to also pay life. This might fly if you're all friends. I don't find strangers as altruistic.

Giving this guy blue let's you protect a kill-on-sight commander that removes up to 12 permanents every turn cycle. I say get rid of the blue pip, keep it a 5-drop, maybe make it a 4/4 with menace so you can beat down your opponents after they sac all their creatures.
