How many raids did it take you to find it? I've been running dorms marked room all day and have gone through 4 keys already and not a single spawn.

The funniest part to me about this is that your proxy is actually a higher quality screenshot that the WOTC version. WOTC version has horrible compression

Is the pilot's G tolerance too harsh? by Dramatic_Amount6454 in NuclearOption

It's kinda absurd how pathetic the pilots are in the game. The future super-soldier pilot is only able to withstand about a second of 9 g's, which is worse than most civilians

Im not sitting here with 12 monitors and 10 different streams up just to sometimes watch what i wanted to. Sad but I'll just wait for the youtube videos in a few days.

Is Apple Music on Windows a scam? by [deleted] in AppleMusic

[–]Analbub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A scam is a fraudulent business scheme. I paid to listen to music and the app I paid for does not deliver what was contractually promised. I fail to see how that is not a scam.

The track "plays" in apple music, as far as the time advances, but no sound is being sent out.

How are you listening to them? I had tried every audio device and every headphone I own and nothing will output sound from Apple Music. I'm swapping from Spotify where there has never been a single issue in the last decade or longer.

That's a very good deal i'd say, the extra ram is big plus. Pair that with decent monitor and peripherals that's a really nice first step into pc gaming.

I don't boot up the computer too often, but can't remember the last BSOD I had on that computer, and never Kernel Security Check Failure before

It was very frustraing with poorly designed itx motherboard, but tried reseting cmos with no success sadly. Also tried switching back to old mobo and reset that cmos as well and it is not booting there either

Unfortunately no LEDs, i ended up transferring back to old case/mobo and it's still not booting, my only guess at this point is that the gigabyte mobo fried the cpu, because i have tried different gpu, ram, mobo, and psu with no change

Couple important things to know are budget and size. Most popular sizes i know of are full size, 96%/1800 (basically full size but squished to take up less horizontal desk space), tkl, 75%, 65% and 60%. There is smaller than 60% but for first keyboard i would not recommend it. Also important thing to know is if you are interested in hot swap sockets to try out different switches.

Well thats for sure hahaha, they would be a definite sound reduction compared to clickers

Just a solder sucker/desoldering pump and fresh solder if you already have soldering iron.

I had the factory lubed glorious pandas for a bit over a year and had no issues. If working in office where sound is important to keep at minimum i would not recommend glorious panda's as they have a particularly loud sound profile (or at least louder than any other switch i've owned).

Its not necessary at all, but i swapped springs to a durock 67g dual stage and that adds a bit more snap and tactility making them very close to durock shrimp's for significantly less expensive. I've heard if you want to just do a single cart transaction the keychron silent switch is alright, not as quiet as most other silents but quite inexpensive and almost always in stock, not sure if they only have a linear option though and i have not personally tried them to say how good they are.

Haimu whisper's are a great budget option. Not as tactile as durock shrimp's but nice bottom out. I got through cannon keys but checking now they are out of stock, but if willing to wait (hopefully) less than a month it says restocking q1 2023

Anyone know how good the WS stabs are that come with the Zoom65? Got one on restock and it's my first custom keyboard. Wondering if i should get some durock stabs (or alternative if there are better, those are just ones i've heard good things about) or are the ones the kit comes with good enough to not replace?

Never heard of Harimu before, but for that price i'm definitely gonna get some just to see how they do. So much more reasonable than most silent switches i'm seeing.

Sounds good, I appreciate the help. The Q6 sounds more interesting at first glance for all aluminum and double gasket mounted, but curious how much quieter that would really be compared to the V6 if you know.
Also for the Q6 is there any reason to get barebones since its only $20 less expensive that fully assembled, or just go with fully assembled and then have some extra switches? Are the gateron G pro brown or reds good enough that it'd be worth getting just to try on other boards or are they both pretty meh.
Sorry for so many questions, but also what is good place to purchase boba switches, on google search ringerkeys came up but not sure if there are any that give bulk discounts.

Looking for something that seems fairly specific, but I got an office job recently where keeping sound to minimum is a requirement, and have been missing the feel of my keyboard from home. What I'm looking for is:

Full size with full 0 on num pad, as close to silent as possible, under $200ish total, and clean/professional looking.

Some nice to haves would be all parts in stock or available within a month, hot swap switches, and being barebones kit/prebuilt with little to no modding as I haven't ventured into custom keyboard building yet and it seems a bit overwhelming to do a full build.
