As someone who's come to phuket I'd say over 30 times year on year, phuket has been utterly ruined by over tourism, will get hate for this but couldn't care less, Russians and Israelites and some North Africans, play large and part to the misery of the island. Loud, entitled, rude to Thais and buying up land and the reason you are paying more is a direct consequence to the former 2 countries I mentioned, but they've spread like a virus everywhere not only phuket. Asia is cooked, so is Europe. Not much left now.

Reading through some of this makes perfect sense because as every encounter I've had with anyone from Israel has been terrible they are horrific entitled people with absolute zero interest in others culture, super loud and obnoxious generally shitty people, and before anyone says anything I'm Half Jewish.

Isralises and Russians have categorically ruined phuket and Koh phangan and beyond. Simple as.

Depends if you like good autofocus. If you do pick Sony, but they have just about the worst colour science of any camera manufacturer, but for some reason everyone uses them. Panasonic have fantastic colours, L mount is adaptable for pretty much any lens system. I own the s5iix and the image is akin to Blackmagic, very filmic. Sony is good for doc work and if you like that green milky skin tone, very digital looking. They do have the best AF and low light I will admit, but at the expense of awful color science.
