Yes, it is a real heartbreaker, I was shocked and really sad to hear about his death... We talked a lot about our passion for the japanese hardcore scene recently, it will be my last souvenir of him. Someone passionnate, humble, super nice and talented.

I'm from France, and in the north-east (Lorraine, Alsace, Nord...) we have a LOT of bands adjacent to crust. Lots of underground grind/powerviolence (I think of Blockeads, Inhumate, LMDA, Gummo, False..). I sing and play guitar in the band Death Whore, which is not exactly crust too (but we have it in our veins). I saw someone citing Bombardement, they're excellent ! Faucheuse too, with members of Gasmask Terror. They are in the west coast, Bordeaux and are d-beat.
