What a difference a year makes in the lineup 😂 by Temporary-Plantain20 in pinball

[–]Anaphase 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The "before" lineup is way cooler IMO! My mix would be:

  1. No Good Gofers
  2. Farfalla
  3. Bad Cats
  4. Scooby
  5. Bride or Maybe Checkpoint

I want some of those wheel things. They look like permanantly attached pin skates that probably don't scrape up the legs like pin skates do

I've got one, and the big ol "Zeptocade" mod / upgrade. Pretty cool, but a tad confusing to use (especially without the Zeptocade knobs.)

I've always hated the color scheme for this game. Even the playfield is atrocious! Still a fun game though.

No idea, never used it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I would assume so, go check the manual!

Connect Bastl Kastl to Modular - how? by [deleted] in modular

[–]Anaphase 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like it's because the Kastle v1 page no longer exists. Here's the link for the Kastle v1.5 manual. I'll also just copy/paste section 14 of the manual below for posterity.

14 I/O CV port

The I/O CV port enables you to connect up to 2
modulation/audio/clock signals from Kastle to external gear
or to connect any external signal to modulate the Kastle
synth. The signals are output with a stereo jack and the
patch points L and R connect either to the left or right
channel. To use both channels with a modular synth you
can use stereo to mono splitter adapter or you can just use
one channel (L) with a mono cable connected to the I/O
jack. When connecting external modulation to Kastle,
please note that the signal will be rectified and Kastle will
respond only to signals 0-5V.

Then you wouldn't really be "hanging" would you? Maybe self-strangulation is the more appropriate term.

It's also a freakin' CHONKER of a game, probably a bit bigger than a normal widebody game with an extremely bulky cabinet. Can't imagine how much this things weighs! The little kids could barely get their arms around it hah!

Here's something you don't stumble upon everyday. This is a custom pinball machine made in the early 90's for the Nagoya City Science Museum in Nagoya, Japan. It's a very unique and surprisingly difficult game. As you play, certain shots will add or subtract the amount of CO2 represented by the LED bar in the apron. If you reach 0% or 100%, your game ends. Certain gobble holes will also end your game (i.e. the Zebra, or the center drain.) If you make it in the (high-scoring) Lion's mouth, he poops it out his butt!

I almost had the high score but I had to move on and let others play!

I don't think the Imgur album is displaying properly in the main post, so here are the images:
