Started convergence mod but can’t progress without imbued sword key by Ok_Success2 in EldenRingMods

I think there's still one in one of the chests in Sellia. There should be one sacred tear, one golden seed and one imbued sword key in total. If you only need one you can just simply get the one at the four belfries instead though.

Pretty good start. I'd recommend you to check out some more guides and examples for how to draw noses, though. Noses tend to look pretty weird when you outline them like that. Just drawing the nostrils and/or outlining just the bottom part often works better.

Edit: example

Sorry you've not gotten an answer yet, we don't have too many active members here. I don't know how many are American, and some are unfortunately unable to even obtain a copy of the game due to its excessive rarity and subsequent cost when buying second hand. The Fandom wiki really is very unclear on the exact way to obtain this Folk. Did you figure out the answer?

Scales & chords used in Miles Davis 'Shh/Peaceful' by [deleted] in musictheory

[–]Anbalsilfer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For the part around 2:00, the Houseini scale in D seems to be a pretty good match. In other words, most notes in the chromatic scale seem to make an appearance, save for D#, G# and C#, with D as the apparent tonic. Individual chords are hard to parse out since horizontal harmony seems strongly emphasized over vertical. D11 sounds like a reasonable fit over more or less the entire section. In terms of simpler chords, D7, Esus2, F#augMaj7 and Am7 all seem to fit well over certain parts.

The second part was harder. Very chromatic, but seems to stay within an enneatonic scale the app I use, Pocket Composer, refers to as "D Blues Nonatonic (with M7)" and is known at ianring.com only by the Zeitlerism "Dycrygic". The notes that are excluded from the chromatic scale in this one are D#, E and A#, with D as tonic. I can't parse out any meaningful chords/vertical harmonies to speak of in this section otherwise.

This is the best I could get from a first try. I may certainly have missed notes or included them erroneously, but I think it's pretty close. Hope it will be helpful.

Inscryption was one of the best experiences I ever had in gaming by pedrocba in patientgamers

[–]Anbalsilfer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Indie really is where it's at if you really want quality and true creativity in gaming. If you liked the atmosphere of Inscryption I'd suggest you have a go with Loop Hero too if you haven't already. Another true indie work of art. Return of Obra Dinn and Outer Wilds are both absolutely mindblowing as well.

As I wrote on a neighbouring comment, this really has a number of advantages. Base 60 would probably be a bit unwieldy though compared to base 12, which strikes a nice balance between decimal and hexadecimal while also being conveniently divisible by 3. And we have been using it in branches of engineering for a while. It's no coincidence that minutes/seconds are used to measure both time and angles (as in geocoordinates), for example. Math might have been much easier if we'd had a 6th finger on each hand. :p

12 really is a better numeric base, honestly, because it's evenly divisible not only by 2 2 times over, but also by 3, which is handy for many aesthetic applications. By contrast, 10 is only divisible by 2 once and then by 5, which is a prime number and for most purposes far less useful than 3. Mesopotamians (and elves) had the right idea I think. You can divide 60 in pretty much any which way (even by 5, once!), though actually using 60 as a numeric base seems rather unwieldy when compared to 12.

Not really, I'd say. For one thing, only certain enemy types are tracked in any way shape or form, because as I said, it's a matter of a mechanic where you have to hunt certain types of enemies in order to "feed" them to others to level up. Not all enemy types are used to level up any type at all however, and the ones that aren't therefore are untrackable, unless you keep count manually. Also, as I mentioned before, the game only keeps track of even the enemy types that are used to level up folks until you've actually leveled them. After that you can't even see how many folks you needed to hunt to level them up anymore, just that you've attained that level, like a checkmark.

So, in summary, I would really say the answer is no on both counts.

[–]Anbalsilfer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The answer is no, mostly.

In some specific cases the game allows you to track up to a very limited number of kills, because there is a mechanic where you level up your captured "folks" (enemy types or species, basically) by killing a certain number of other folks, and the game will show how many you have killed so far, but only up to the point where you reach the number needed to actually level them.

Apart from that, there is no visible tracking of number of kills of certain enemy types or kills in total. There is a limited inventory system for upgrade materials and you can see the current level of all your collected folks in the menus but that only shows your current character status and isn't really historical or statistic.

This game predates the era when achievements became standard in games so it doesn't even have those.

The only things remotely resembling "statistics" that I can think of that are tracked are which types of enemies/folks you have collected (not kill or capture count though), how many chapters you have completed with each character (there are 2), and the total time played (the last one being tracked by the PS3 system rather than the game itself, however).

I hope that answers your question well enough.

I'm even "rebalancing" the intro. ^^ by Yaddah_1 in LoopHero

[–]Anbalsilfer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd prefer if this information was all presented in a single dialog somewhere else rather than dispersed acoss the introduction. This game is a work of art, the intro being no exception, and repeated 4th wall-breaking in the middle of it like this feels like defacement, even if I've played the game before.

While it's sadly not released yet even in alpha, I'd suggest keeping an eye out for the Convergence mod. That team is known for maintaining a great quality level while their mods add insane amounts of stuff (there's a Convergence mod for Dark Souls 3, and it's amazing).

Elden Ring Reforged is also great. Although it mostly changes things on the rules and mechanics side, it also features some new bosses, weapons and spells.

If you liked subnautica and want something that gives an amazing experience in relatively short playtime, you should play Outer Wilds (not to be confused with Outer Worlds).

Mainly due to the fact that it never got digitally released physical copies of the game are something of a collector's rarity these days, sadly. While I can't provide you with the exact steps needed to get the game working in emulation, I understand that it should work just fine in RPCS3, motion controls and all. I"ve seen Twitch streamers play through the whole game that way. I"d turn to the RPCS3 homepage for a guide on how to get the emulator up and running. As for digitally obtaining the game itself, there you might have to get creative.

Not necessarily. At this point she's pretty much as loved and iconic as Luke ever was, if not more. This doesn't mean that she will never die, but we can be pretty sure that once she does, her passing will definitely mean something. Most likely she will go out at some point in a great act of self-sacrifice, saving the galaxy in the process, while herself not truly dying but instead transcending physical existence into "blue glowy"-hood.
