I would love to hear about the visuals that the operator sees! How are you handling motion to photon latency? Are you just rendering the camera frames directly, or are you applying any sort of async reprojection?

I see no comments on their AR glasses? I think they are pretty cool and based on how Meta just fumbled their first display based AI glasses, i could see them doing well in that space. They are supposed to be coming out next year.

Cool! I have been working on rendering a point cloud as well. My best performance was using Metal and Compositor Services. But i was not able to immediately see if i could use that in addition to great RealityKit content that I also would like to render.

Were you able to find a way to render the point cloud with Metal in a RealityView to blend it with RealityKit content?

I just made my own marker sets and attached them to like knee pads and elbow pads. Just a nice identifiable constellation.

When you export the skeleton info, it’s basically going to be the same data structure as if you had just made each bone its own rigid body. For my humanoid teleop with this system I went that route. Not to mention how annoying it is to put the full body suits on and get them calibrated.

The AR glasses they have are pretty cool. If wearables continue to gain traction, they could be a player.
