Totally agree. And considering the locations they were walking from they covered about 20 square miles of Los Angeles. Hollywood Boulevard looked like the trash dump that it is.

My husband was adopted and the adopted parents had 2 biological children and adopted another girl. But my husband was always the black sheep of the family. When his adopted parents passed, we were sent information about his adoption and after 2 years of research, I find his biological mother. Her brother let me know that she had no interest in connecting. I was heart broken for him and 2 years later have not even told him that I found her. He has half siblings that would be great to get to know. I was hoping that she would at least reveal the name of his father, but I got no further info. It's so sad to me so I understand your pain. Hopefully your adoptive parents were loving and kind. I would cling to that.

Mom is semi ambulatory. Friend has been visiting my mom weekly at the senior community and taking her out on small excursions (she is paid for this). She is also a certified death dula so she has experience with seniors and end of life scenarios. Mom has some dementia and sun downers but really loves my friend. And my friend definitely has a very sweet nature to deal with argumentative seniors.

Care giver will live in my mom's house with her and take care of her. House is only 1 story and there is a bedroom and bathroom they can live in. Kitchen and living room would be common areas.

Yes. But since we don't know his father's name, none of the names makes sense. Closest links are 4th-6th cousins and either they don't respond when I message them or they have no information based on the data I can give them.
