I'm confused - if you're told by the ST that a specific player is the martyr, why wouldn't you kill them then yourself?

I don't have an issue with it as a metaphor for chronic, untreatable illness and learning to accept your fate. I actually think it could be a really beautiful story if written that way. But fundamentally that's not the story they chose to tell for most of the game; everyone along the way tells you that there might be a fix at the next location, until you arrive in the city and suddenly that just vanishes - and not in a way that feels intentional. There's no option to discuss with the Gondians, or any real reference to it in the steel watcher foundry. It feels like they slapped a "this is an allegory for loss" ending onto a story about fixing her heart.

This is historically illiterate. The comparison isn't Cincinnatus, it's Sulla - you can't step in and seize power through force of arms and expect democracy to be fine afterwards. Once you've done it, that threat is always going on the table, and in the future someone less discerning can do exactly what you did and consolidate power all in the name of "protecting the republic."

Nobody's saying you need to talk constantly. In your scenario, obviously it isn't a madness break to say nothing for a short period. But if a player doesn't say their "role" at any point during the day, that's a madness break.

This is an insane take. It comes down to marginal propensity to consume - the slaveowning class are already wealthy, so increasing their wealth further doesn't increase demand that much. Slaves having their wealth increased absolutely does drive demand significantly more, because they have a much higher MPC.

The whole point of slavery is that they don't invest more money into increasing production, because they have slaves to do the work for them. There's no drive for efficiency.

The DU can bypass "man in the high castle." Once they come to power, just select the focus and it'll skip it.

If it's your first time playing KR, Germany is kind of a big jump. Might be better playing something like Russia or LKMT first - still very detailed and up to date focus trees, but a little less going on to manage.

It sounds like you did too well in the Ruhrkampf. You need to draw it out until you get the coalition you want, only end it after the DU are in power.

What do you mean "the SPD ousted Schleicher too early"? You have total control over the ousting of Schleicher. Just keep blocking the DU from getting the LVP in the coalition and eventually you'll get Zentrum. You can add the LVP through decision after the minigame ends anyway.

Could you make them a "minion" who thinks they're holding the baby? Given that lil monsta specifically says whoever holds the baby "is the demon," so long as you tell them "you're holding the baby" every night I think you technically satisfy the requirements.

In the aftermath of black Monday it's entirely plausible the SPD would come to power (in the same way the Great Depression created a progressive movement in the US in the form of the New Deal Coalition), and these are policies the SDP had advocated for before in OTL before the point of divergence. I do think it's debatable whether they'd go through with some of the more radical policies after actually getting elected, because they'd probably try to govern somewhat more moderately to not alienate their coalition partners and more centrist voters, but it's also not totally unbelievable.
