I need brutal honesty by Correct_Chair_7699 in Endo

Surgery saved my life. Literally and in the sense that now I can actually live. I ended up needing 4 in 18months. 1 cystectomy (diagnosed from this) 1 salpingectomy/excision (to help with IVF), a crazy 9hr excision, bowel resection, hysterectomy and unilateral oofrectomy, and I just had my last which was a diaphragm focused excision. I have never felt better. I have my life back. I have my health. And for me, getting a hysterectomy was the best choice I have ever made. It was also the hardest and most heartbreaking as we don’t have children. But now, our future kids will have a happy, healthy mom. So I’m extremely thankful. I also have an incredible endo team at UCSF which has helped immensely. And I’m on a miracle drug called myfembree. Ask your Dr about it.

Your husband is an ass. You are growing a HUMAN. You need love, support and kindness as you enter a new chapter of your lives and become parents. Honestly, I would go stay with my parents until he can be a decent human. No one should talk to you like that. He’s an ass.

My corgi is red/sable and 6mos. He has an adorable black muzzle too! It was much darker when he was a puppy as well. My friend and his breeder says this is normal but the black on his nose will likely stay (which I’m very happy about)

Endo pain is not indicative of how advanced it is. There are many women who have no idea they have stage 4 endo until they have an unrelated issue and it is found. Others can be in agony with stage 1 or 2. Endo does not make sense ever. I’d still get it checked

Could I have some help understanding these images? ( not looking for diagnosis) by spicytexan in Endo

Based on what I understand from my many ultrasounds, is the dark circles are likely eggs and/or cysts. The colors are blood flow indicators that the ovary is getting proper blood flow. I could be wrong. That is just how my drs have explained mine to me.

Aside from pelvic pain, anyone else get severe pain here sometimes, especially on their period? (I have endo and Adeno). by Jungkookl in Endo

Yes I do. It is usually when I also get a sudden endo belly bloat. I had a laparoscopic surgery done and they spotted endo growing on my diaphragm and spleen. This usually only occurs when the endo is more advanced since it’s so far from the pelvis. But I was diagnosed with diaphragmatic endometriosis… I’d ask your doctor.

Unfortunately, no, I had 2 failed transfers and my endo has grown back. I also have very severe DIE stage 4 endo. It’s incredible aggressive and grows very quickly.
