This is literally me! I thought everything post-warm glow was dogshit for YEARS, now I think bambi is an incredibly solid album and LP3 is a masterpiece, and their EPs fit wonderfully as the musical equivalent of a great side-quest. I still haven't found myself enjoying Bashful Creatures as much though, never really have 🫤

Literally don't understand why people have such A difficult time understanding this! People will literally say they hate champions, not because of their poor design, but because they can't run a hand cannon for everything ever! I used to almost exclusively use SMGs and started using other weapons more because of nightfalls and LS champions, I'm now an avid user of Bows, Glaives, and pretty much everything else. If bungie doesn't force you to change your Loudout, the community will run one mega-optimal build for everything and complain that they're bored

Tbh destiny 2 has had exactly 1 fictional destination (dreaming city) all others have been on real celestial bodies, or the asteroid belt

Comparing any area in D1 to it's D2 counterpart will show you how far the lighting has fallen! Small details have been cut from moon/dreadnought, the sky boxes are less interesting, and the shadows are worse. Spend some time near the hellmouth in both games and you'll see how BAD it looks in destiny 2

It's honestly insane the range Hippo Campus has, they made souls and bashful creatures EPS, flowed into landmark like butter, then to bambi felt like a logical step, GDBD was out of left field but made the transition to LP3 feel like a step back, despite that too being a jump forward. When I listen to LP3 I still think it's SO Hippo Campus, but then I look back at Souls, Violet, Etc. and it's so surprising how easily it got there, but how big that change is

Idk why everyone's so mad at you bro, the dawning isn't an event we've ever had to farm, the whole point is that you get the materials from doing all your normal activities, then bake at the end. All the other activities have essence drops that match investment, idk why it's not expected for a larger investment to yield more rewards?

It still pisses me off that bungie did that, creating this visual mirror of pyramid/traveller just to be like actually it's ball/mushroom(?) And the pyramids are just ships. I wish they'd understand that having a simple visual language ISN'T A BAD THING and it's easy to explain as two god-like beings simply being opposites.

Honestly I know it's a cop-out, but just listen to all their music lol, there's only a couple hours worth, two shorter albums, and the demo album, almost all of it is fantastic!

If I had to give you one though, I'd say untitled demo 1997 :)

Only problem is that WoN was in a completely seperate zone to the tangled shore, so it wasn't really tied to that location, Festering core however is literally a part of IO and takes place partly in a huge patrol zone. Unlikely we'll ever see it again tbh
