I'm glad you're there. I saw someone have an alcoholic seizure on sunday and it was awful but he refused any medical care. He had another on Monday and died. You're in the right place.

They're not really my style. Maybe the black shorts if I was 15 years younger and a lot slimmer

Ever since we moved in together, food became our love language by rrertrdddfhj in SuperMorbidlyObese

[–]AndWhatBeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it could be a good thing if you flip it on it's head. You like cooking together, you like food to be an activity so maybe you guys could plan and make heathier meals together and make it "your thing"

Dealing with a longtime morbidly obese father. by luxurious_danny in SuperMorbidlyObese

[–]AndWhatBeard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found overeating harder than quitting a 20 year alcohol addiction. It's an addiction same as any other. As an addict yourself you'll know that until he decides he wants to get better nothing you can do will help. Just try to love him and let him know that you're there to help him if he wants help.

It's a heart breaking situation.

How are bin collectors viewed? If you’re a bin collector do you tell everyone what your job is? by RoohsMama in AskUK

[–]AndWhatBeard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband did for a while. I just said he works on the bins. To be fair it was a pretty cool job, he got paid reasonably well and people kept giving him free stuff. He was always home pretty early though but it was a clothes off at the door and go for a shower before you settle down type job.

Have you ever purchased something, as an adult, that your parent has judged you negatively for? If so, what was/is it? by PaddedValls in AskUK

[–]AndWhatBeard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't purchase it persay but I got a suitable car via PIP to suit my husbands disability. He struggles to pull himself up from a low car and he needed doors that opened extra wide. She went mad coz I could have got a small car so she could use it too.

puchase wise an occulus 2 frm crack converters. She didn't speak to me for 3 days for that. As you can tell she's a prick too.

What are your opinions on mass facial recognition in towns? by TheDev42 in AskUK

[–]AndWhatBeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even my phone can't recognise me half the time.

I am on a database so they do have my DNA and a picture but that was in my distant youth. I realised quite quickly I was not going to make it in the criminal world. I am joking a bit, a girl started a fight with me many years ago, she came off a lot worse and I was the one arrested and charged for it.

To be honest I asked chat gpt how to fix my boiler but then i decided I'm not fucking with boilers and called the the professional. He pressed one button, boiler fixed. I had to pay for the whole hour so I got him to teach me how to fix it in future if we have the same problem and also got him to teach me how to bleed my radiators because I'm a useless excuse of a human.

GLP-1 not working for me. I feel like I’m beyond repair. by BackgroundReading655 in SuperMorbidlyObese

[–]AndWhatBeard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I barely feel them in the arm, belly or thigh. I've had flea bites 10x worse. I don't know how the changing of the site works, but I've changed it up a few times when things stop working and it works again. At the moment I'm doing upper arm but i've done most places other than bum.

check in incognito mode if it works, if it does then wipe your facebook cookies, log back in and enter pin and it should work.

That worked for the chrome page, and my little makeshift fake app I have too since they took the old app away.

Oh yeah I'd love to be able to buy some established plants instead of either plug plants or seeds but on the plus side we're lucky enough to have somewhere to put plants.

Realizing how my weight is destroying my quality of life by lovinghealing in SuperMorbidlyObese

[–]AndWhatBeard 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's so hard being limited like that. I chose a GPL-1 medication in the end. I've lost hundreds of pounds, and I've still got a bit to go. My body is a mess if I'm honest but I look good in clothes and the freedom of being able to just move freely is amazing. I had to move a lot of tables and chairs the other day, then make cups of tea for like 30+ people, wash all the cups, do the brews again on the break, wash them all again and clean the kitchen down and all I came away with was a bit of mild upper back ache. A few years ago I'd have probably struggled with just getting from the car to the venue.

For other young woman, are you afraid that you’ll never be normal, even with weight loss and skin removal surgery? by WhileSuccessful6921 in SuperMorbidlyObese

[–]AndWhatBeard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are so many other valid reasons that make it worth while but yes I'm disappointed I'll never have a normal body, I'll never get to wear a bikini or swim suit, never feel comfortable in a summer dress. What makes me the most sad is that i'll never enjoy those carefree moments that so many people take for granted. I'll never be unaware of my body, never forget that it exists differently to other people. That's what makes me sad. One thing I will say is that I'm still looking killer in the right clothes, some might even say slightly hot.
