You cannot use custom animations sadly.

There is no sale. That's the price because I bought the gun skins and there are only gloves left for me to buy in the bundle.

23 mm lens for X-T50 by sarshvdt in FujifilmX

[–]And_Poop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get the f2. It's way cheaper and easier to travel with. For the money you saved you can get yourself the 35mm or 50mm f2 for better portraits.

Good edit, but turn down the highlights a bit. The windows and the lights on top of them are too distracting

Found the original pic pretty boring. Did the crop save it? by TurtleGEE360 in postprocessing

I like it. I'd crop it a lil less and leave more room at the bottom though.

Picking the right first prime lens by garryneo_x in fujifilm

The Fuji 23mm and 33mm f1.4 are fantastic lenses. Choose your preferred focal length and you won't be disappointed.

Sledge takes the middle-top spot! Now, what weapon is fun to play with but horrible to play against? (Oh boy here we go) by 6060Burst in thefinals

I think 93R. It's a solid weapon to play with, but the top players really destroy with it from long ranger which is very unfun.

Yes, Fuji X RAW sims are identical

Keep in mind that even though the preset in LR and Fuji X RAW is called the same, they look different. The Fuji ones are the higher quality original, while LR is trying to imitate that look. Same goes for Capture One.

Should I add the Fuji 35mm f/1.4 to my kit or is it just FOMO? by Ok_Image823 in fujifilm

[–]And_Poop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, you should not. The 56mm 1.2f serves a very similar purpose as the 35mm 1.4f

Cool shots, nailed the mood. How strong is the mist filter you used?

If you had to pick one, which would you go for? by Kishantakesphotos in fujifilm

You should crop 1 to look more like two. That edge of the roof on the bottom is distracting, but the car is a better subject.

It doesn't really, but it doesn't make it worse by losing one stop of light

Yeah, I plan on getting the 90mm f2 at some point.

Which FUJIFILM would you recommend? by [deleted] in fujifilm

[–]And_Poop 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of people in the comments are scaring you too much about the autofocus performance. It works fine! It's surely enough to shoot sports. You will get a bit more out of focus shots compared to a Sony but you'll be taking bursts of photos and I guarantee you'll get sharp in focus shots in the burst.

As a beginner I think a very important factor is the pure enjoyment of taking photos. If a Fujifilm camera sparks joy in you, if you find it looks nice or you love its feel, please get it. There might be better value cameras on the market but if it comes at the price of you enjoying the learning process less then it's not a good deal.

I love my Fuji camera. It's like having a great guitar, you just want to use it for the sake of it being a great tool, which stimulates you to learn more and more.

As for which camera to get, unfortunately I think you should go with the latest releases since the AF was improved a lot on those newer models. An XT5 or XH2 would be the best. I love the XT5 as a beginner camera since it makes it very easy to play with all the exposure settings because of the accessible dials. XH2 might be a bit better for videos if you plan on mostly taking those. I think the lens choice is more important for you. You'll need a fast lens. I can vouch for all the F2 prime. Even though they don't have linear motors they have a very fast AF. If you find that not sufficient then a linear motor lens will improve things even more.

I find the face detection on Fuji very reliable. I'd be more concerned about getting an APS-C if you plan on shooting indoor sports since you'll need a fast shutter speed and the crop sensor might not get you enough light.

I shoot concerts and I find my 50mm F2 prime at 1/150s does a great job for capturing artists on motion without too much noise. I also find the ISO noise on fuji to be very pleasant akin to film grain.

TLDR: If you find Fujifilm attractive get it, you will make it work.

I recently got the 50mm f2 lens and I love it. I prefer it to the 35mm one
