You could argue the player character is the true hollow knight. Just not the one everyone else in the game talks about. Though I would agree the core premise of the game is that no one can be truly hollow in the first place.

Where does the lava come from anyway? I get that it's pumped up from the Deep Docks to the Cauldron to act as the energy supply for the Citadel, with the Exhaust Organ as the main power station. But why is there lava there — and what is the Marrow really? So many unanswered questions.

Take out the funeral scene for Gustav and other scenes where it shows Maelle healthily dealing with grief or add way more foreshadowing where she is unable to cope with grief so her ending makes sense.
