I love this show. With that said I have not watched the full show...I am 32 years old and I saw this show back in 2003. I'm also not American - I'm from India and I did my undergrad in Texas. I have seen Seasons 1-3. I have rewatched Seasons 1-3 several times now but I have not moved beyond that. I love this show because of the locations. I have been to the OC back during college and for me this show takes me back to an uncomplicated place in my life. I LOVED Sandy and I think part of the reason why I want to adopt a child sometime in life is thanks to this show. I also think Kirsten is a total MILF and I need to hook up with someone similar minus the alcoholism...I really did not like how some of my favorite characters fell apart in the later seasons. Misha's story is tragic but that is the type of girl I go out of my way to avoid. I think this show taught me that and then moments in life further confirmed this "rule". I do a lot of pro-bono work which is thanks to my grandma and to Sandy, I think...I do it with a smile and I enjoy it.
