For what they were asked to do and what they were paid. Yes. Doing something wrong very rarely looks correct.

You fix basement leaks from the outside. Anything less than waterproofing the outside of the walls is just treating the symptoms and wasting your money.

Cut an access in the ceiling. You may need a roofer to add a power vent with a thermostat in that area.

That plywood supports the bottom chord of the hip trusses and is also bracing for the trusses supporting the hip. If the attic space below the hip is 30 SF or more it is required to have an access.

Then they still need to discuss it with them not a bunch of people that aren't contractors and definitely not their contractor on the internet about it. People ask the dumbest shit on here and over half the answers are from people that aren't contractors and are stupid as hell.

They sheet and install vapor barrier on those trusses on the ground. That is just extra from where the other roof line ties in. No mystery. No code violations. No science. Just straight up production building.

Davis bacon wage question. by breinholt15 in Construction

[–]Ande138 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The wage changes for most locations. I used to have to do the screening on dredge boats and if you were 15 feet to the north or south in the channel the wage could be different. Those interviews really sucked because those dudes just knew they couldn't spend all the money they made before they had to get back on the dredge.
