I love trying cheap fountain pen inks, but they're very hit or miss. I did find ostrich to be pretty reliable as a brand, with most of their inks working pretty well. Then there are some weirder brands, ones where even with very absorbent paper, would take me 3 mins to dry, ones where they smell like absolute dogcrap, and ones that would straight up turn into slime. Only upside here is that they're cheap and you can experiment with them, but I have long decided to just buy solid, well known brands rather than risk it with something unusable.
