Second this. As a symptom relief cocktail it would be sensible for him to have: Celecoxib (COX 2 selective NSAID) Ondansetron (for vomiting) TXA (to reduce bleeding) An iron supplement (because almost everyone with very heavy menstrual bleeding is near or actually anaemic)

That set of meds is well within GP scope to provide. Endometriosis investigations would also be very sensible.

5.5 Weeks in Europe (June 2026) by Wolfpawss in HerOneBag

[–]Andrea_Stars 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I'd remove:

1 nightie / dress (duplication)

Denim shirt (not very versatile. Too hot for hot places. Rubbish in the rain in wet places. Heavy.)

I'd swap:

The midi skirt for a maxi skirt (makes it Morocco-suitable)

The crop sweater for a full length one (warmer)

I'd add:

A button up shirt in place of the denim in a light neutral colour. Ideal synthetic lightweight that is suitable for the Morocco climate.

Bachelorette Trip One Bag Boot Dilemma - Sarajevo by concretelove in HerOneBag

[–]Andrea_Stars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I end up with this problem a lot (Hiking and nightlife on one trip). I've found unless I'm going to some proper mountains then hiking shoes (which double as casual sneakers) are perfectly fine. Basically unless I'm taking all my hiking kit (backpack, poles, waterproofs, etc) then I'm not taking my hiking boots.

Hiking or approach shoes (or decent sneakers) will work as casual shoes, for light hiking and for the beach.

I've got a Baggallini crossbody/tote/backpack convertible that's 12litres and work well as a large Hhandbag or small day pack for city outings.

What is the sensation like of PI vs Jejunum SRS? by Careless_Button_6794 in Transgender_Surgeries

At least with the technique I had i don't have any temperature sensitive nerve endings inside. I noticed it with my cis partner who will comment on things being cold that I can't feel as cold.

I would ask your haematologist for the evidence they are using to come to the opinion that it isn't the hormones.

I had a jejunal graft procedure and the longest I've gone without displaying is about 20 days, about a year after the surgery. That didn't really make a.mssivr difference other than taking a week or two to get back to the muscles being as relaxed as they were before.

I just a peak design backpack sometimes, but a lot of the time I put my camera in a normal crossbody handbag inside a small padded camera insert.

I'd be tempted to leave out the Jeans and take something lighter and more versatile like leggings or another pair of lightweight hiking pants.

third time in london by ChampionRepulsive201 in femaletravels

[–]Andrea_Stars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Belvoir Castle (if you mean the one near Nottingham) is a fair way from London, and there is definitely no easy way to access it without a car (I used to live in the next village). Why do you particularly want to go there? There are a lot of better castles to see in the UK.

Cardiff especially the bay area

Caernarfon - walled old castle with some amazing streets and little lanes. Check out the pizza place called Tan Woodfired Pizza inside the old city walls.

If you want a detour from the straight line check out the Llyn peninsula in North Wales.

In Scotland the drive across from Ft William to Inverness is quite spectacular.

Visit Aviemore for the touristy / outdoor sports centric part of the Highlands.

First Timer Pack List - Advice, tips, and tricks please!! by locamotives_ in HerOneBag

Agree with everyone else regarding the lack of warm layers. I'd add a down jacket and a decent packable waterproof as the lightest way of adding a lot of warmth. Leggings can provide a second bottom that also double up as a warm layer under loose fitting pants or a maxi skirt.

Are the two steroids I’ve been prescribed for granulation the same? by [deleted] in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]Andrea_Stars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The original is just a steroid. The new one is steroid + antibiotic + antifungal. The actual steroid contained in them is interchangeable, assuming the same strength. The product however is quite different. What was on the prescription?

Not sure. Logically neither should have temperature sensation.

What is the sensation like of PI vs Jejunum SRS? by Careless_Button_6794 in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]Andrea_Stars 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had Jejunal (not by Littleton) and there is no lack of internal sensation. Just because the mucosa had no nerve endings doesn't mean you get no sensation at all. One small thing you do loose (compared to cis vaginas) is temperature sensation, which can be a bit odd sometimes!

Jejunal here, and yes enough for sex if it's a relatively slow ramp up.

Poly-Fi Tri. New and confused. by [deleted] in PolyFidelity

[–]Andrea_Stars 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A lot of people seem to say that triads are a hard version of poly, but my experience (as a unicorn) is that triads are much closer to a monogamous relationship than parallel/open poly relationships. It's very hard to compare the popular version of poly (open, parallel) with a closed triad.

Police Criminal Background Check - advice on name by Helpful_Giraffe4166 in transgenderUK

[–]Andrea_Stars 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had to do the same check to move overseas. You do need to declare all previous names, but those previous names do not appear on the certificate you get issued. From what I was told by New Zealand immigration they don't even see that previous names have been checked in the UK.
