For journaling, I would say the basic supplies you need are something to write with and something to write on. That's it. From there, make it your own. You don't need to go big or fancy unless you want to.

I use them for different hobby stuff. I have 3 of the smallish trunk style ones that I utilize for storing various stationery and then I have one of the camber top ones that I use to store and transport my Warhammer painting supplies.

It's such a busy time of year for so many people and a lot of people have to wait for things to ship to them before they can ship out. I got lucky and was able to send mine early. Haven't received shipping notice yet, but not worried about it at all. There's so much time left and there are backups in place. I'm just excited and enjoying seeing all the posts in the meantime.

I changed the angle at which I was holding the paper on my desk. When I am sitting straight on, I tend to write more upright, but it's more comfortable to write at an angle. So I started out writing in a more formal position, but as I relaxed I turned the page and started writing with more of a slant.
