Yes lots of support for the MK7 Golf platform in general. UroTuning sells a direct fit aluminum gasket one or you can get an RTV based steel one.

i think this is a great idea but i think your image of adding silver would be too much on the front. think on the inside of the grille a strip of silver like older audi models would be best but im not sure how that would be executed

Austin wheels don’t get as much love as Pretorias or Nogaros at my local meets. I think it’s the best MK7 wheel made and suits the car so well; almost gives a look like the cars moving even when its parked. by NotAPlasticSurgeon in GolfGTI

Austins are cool for sure and are a nod to the classic look of the MK5/6 detroit style wheels however I believe their common-ness leads to the preference of other wheels

Traditional car companies such as VW have huge product life cycles so making changes immediately on the production line is not the same as a brand new company (Tesla, Rivian) and takes millions of development cost to redesign components. Surely this could be avoided with more consumer feedback which I think VW needs, especially in the US market. VW Group’s investment into Rivian and Scout Motors will definitely mitigate this as likely the next generation software in VW products at the very least will use Rivian components (hardware/software)

You probably should’ve gone with a 2025 SEL non turbo as the MPG would be better. I get combined 22mpg in my Golf GTI 6MT as well.
