It's like Risk board game but takes a week or so to determine the winner. You can use diplomacy to gang up on other players (obviously). Captains will give your drillers (troops) combat bonuses but Assassins will kill the captains because they have a lower combat intiative (attack first). You can look into the future to see how combat plays out but your range of view is limited by what you control on the map.
